Order my food in advance so that I didn't have to wait. Got there my food wasn't ready and had to substitute bc they ran out. The had to wait all over again. Had home jerk chicken wasn't good usually I get perk chicken and it's falling off the bone this one was a bit tough. Pasta is great.

Parking is a nightmare. What you're not told is that you should make a reservation (it's optional). When I visited, there was a $20 cover, which was annoying, then the person we spoke to said upstairs & downstairs were the exact same. False. What she didn't say is, if you want to sit, you have to spend a minimum of $150 for 2ppl and $250 for 4ppl. It was 4 of us so we opted to sit, bcuz we came for dinner, but to say it's the same in both floors was wrong, and if you're going to make ppl stand they should be serving finger foods not full on entrees in bowls and plates standing. Then the fight was on (not sure if that's why there was a cover or not), but we paid for a fight that we couldn't see since ppl came and stood in front of us. Bottomline for us we won't be back. There's closer places with parking that don't charge for entry.

The food was good. Had the cat fish bites to start and curry chicken meal with side of mac. Service was good, only thing the drinks are weak. They definitely need to work on that. Music was on point. Will come back again.

They scammed us by allowing us to pay to enter ($30 at the door) and order rounds of drinks then told us that we needed to leave because my friend was wearing a durag. They should’ve said that at the door or even when I was walking through the place. Poor business, no one in, was empty inside.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!
They allow me to pay and enter, order rounds of drinks, then told me I had to leave because I was wearing a pink fur and pink du-rag. If what I was wearing was a problem they should’ve addressed that before taken my money. This was a scammy way for this lounge to get a quick buck. Hope this scammy technique is worth the negative review and the rest to come.

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at JamaGrille, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The décor strikes the perfect balance between modern chic and cozy comfort, making it an ideal spot for any occasion.
While the food was outstanding, the highlight of the evening was our server, Marlitha. From the moment she approached our table, her warm smile and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. Marlitha was incredibly attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that every detail of our meal was flawless. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations that turned out to be spot on.
What truly set Marlitha apart was her ability to connect with us on a personal level. She was genuinely interested in making our evening special, and her kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed. but Marlitha nailed it. If you’re lucky enough to have Marlitha as your server, you’re in for a real treat. I can’t wait to return!

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at Jamagrille Sports Bar and Lounge, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. My friends and family were impressed by the lively ambiance, great music, and excellent food.
A special shoutout to Ashley, our host, whose outstanding accommodations made the evening seamless. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured every detail was perfect—from seating arrangements to personalized service. Ashley’s exceptional care added a special touch that made the celebration even more memorable.

Omg, the food the food the food! ❤️ It was so good, I had them cater for Thanksgiving and my guests loved me for it! Was visiting jersey for my birthday weekend and was looking for Caribbean spots for my birthday . The vibe was horrible . We came on a Friday The dj absolutely was an amateur. 1 song was sexy red then style next song was Spanish music. Made no sense . The way the tables are set up people bump into you and have no care in the world because it’s a low budget vibe . If you’re looking for a place you can chill eat drink and wear a bonnet and not be judged and don’t care about the music and rude people this is your place .

My husband and I enjoy eating out and we don’t mind spending money as long as the food and the service is good. I am a hard critic when it comes to food. When I took the first bite, my husband looked at my expression and said don’t start complaining. I didn’t say a word and waited to hear what he had to say after he tasted his food. Well, he came over to me and said “honey you can complain all you want about this food, it is horrible, the chef must not be Jamaican.”
The money that we spent at this restaurant was not worth it.
We ordered take out which consisted of: Jerk pork dinner, curry chicken dinner, two slices of cakes.
The jerk pork was a small piece of cooked pork with some sauce slapped on it and a spoon of rice and peas. It tasted like some bootleg jerk sauce.
The curry chicken did not look like curry nor did it taste like curry.
What really got me was the desert. They charged $9:00 for one slice and $12:00 for the other slice. The size of the two slices were very thin and to make it worse the cakes were stale and hard as rocks.
The employees were very friendly, but the food was disappointing. We will not be going back to this restaurant again.
