We purchased what we thought were stuffed cabbages. They were not cheap so I called the shop and asked WHY did they not come in tomatoes sauce! This is a staple amongst the Polish culture!! It’s like pizza with no sauce! The person I spoke to when I called , said YOU have to ask for tomato sauce otherwise they do not add it??? Well that was the problem they were wrapped in foil and when we heated them up and opened it, No tomatoes sauce. How would anyone know to ask for a standard stuffed cabbage to add sauce when that is a tradition when making these! Unreal.

My family has been going to Joe's for decades. My mother would have me take her, usually on a Saturday morning around 11am, to purchase the freshly smoked kielbasa that is the best in the area hands down!! My mother has since passed but I still go to Joe's in honor of my mother but also because it just doesn't get any better than the authentic Polish goods that you can get here. The staff, as well as the owners, have always been nothing but pleasant and very accommodating. My mother always had nothing but praise for them. I thank you all for always showing my mother love and respect whenever we would come to shop. The visits with her here will always be something I will cherish. If you're looking for authentic Polish food like Kielbasa or Kabanoski (probably didn't spell that right) you need to come here, you will not be disappointed!!

We have been coming to Joe's for nearly 50 years. This place is an institution and I'm glad the family has kept it going. I've long since moved to Virginia but we make it a point to stop at Joe's every time we come up to NJ. If your looking for store made goods - polish kielbasa, smoked meats, cold cuts - head cheese and other delicacies, along with fresh sausage, meats, etc. There is no better place than Joe's Meat Market.

Walking into Joe’s is like stepping back in time. Delicious smells , old world charm and a feeling of “coming home” fills your senses. Great fresh made kielbasa, lunch meat and an incredible assortment of Polish imports. I have never had better food or service. So don’t just sit there - go and taste the very best ! Says nearly 50 years of enjoying it myself!!
