Me and my sister's get together once or twice a year for Spanish food. So we head to Kanni's. We will be going this evening 10/5/2018 can't wait for the fellowship & great food. I did go that evening but they had no chicken or shimp very sad. I hope they have during Christmas when we go.
Very nice servers & owner. Food was good. Prices are good with nice size servings.

I was looking for authentic Puerto Rican good and the restaurant I usually go to was closing soon. I decided to try somewhere new... boy did I waste my time and money. I ordered one alcapurria and was told by the woman taking my order "they're really good, only one?" (Don't tell a pregnant woman that) "okay, give me 2" I also order the pencil with white rice and red beans, bistec encebollado and tostones. Well let's just say the alcapurria's were really NOT that good. Call me a spoiled island girls but ground beef in an alcapurria is a waste of calories for me!! They had minimal flavor and not worth it. I made me a plate of the rice, beans and pernil and about 3 bites in i threw it all away. The food was not good and did not taste fresh. I will not be returning back. Not to mention when your paying at counter you have a direct sight of the kitchen and it didn't look the cleanest. I should of just walked out!

Such a hidden gem. I came here today early afternoon to beat the crowd and I had great Puerto Rican food. The music was a tad too loud but the staff and customers were very helpful and friendly. I will come back as I do highly recommend this place.
