We were on our way out of Perth Amboy after a church service. It was late and we were driving around looking for something good to eat before heading back to south Jersey! Everything was closed! Finally we drive by this place that looked open! I’m so glad we stopped by! From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed by the young woman up front who walked us through the menu since our spanish is “no good looking” . She took her time , we didn’t feel rushed and she even gave us her personal recommendations! I chose the mofongo with chicharron and my cousin got the plantain sandwich with chicken! *chefs kiss * 10/10 . The staff were alll so kind to us . The gentleman , (not sure if he was the owner) , he talked with us for a few minutes and we really felt comfortable and welcomed! I’ve already shared this place with my family and friends! Can’t wait to return !

This place has the best chimi (Dominican hamburger) i have ever eaten. I would thumb wrestle anyone who disagrees. So here is the basic info: takes credit cards, indoor seating, and very clean. Not even in the Bronx have i had a better chimi and in such a clean place lol (IYKYK). I got the vladimir guerrero which is the regular chimi with longaniza (sausage) and fried cheese. I repeat, best chimi i have ever had. The ladies at the counter were very friendly. I waited 10 minutes for them to prepare a fresh meal. To some people that might be too long but you cant rush good food. I will be returning to try the rest of the menu.

Came here for a quick bite, turns out that’s no what you will get, what suppose to be a a fats food pick up turn out to be an hour wait for no reason. If you are hungry this is not the place to be, you will be waiting for a while, even people who order ahead of time had to wait. Do not recommend.
La espera fue horrible no vengan aquí si quieren algo porque van a esperar horas por un simple chimi!
