The one in Perth Amboy is horrible and it’s definitely not like the one in South Amboy. I used to love their pizza and don’t know what happened to them. They don’t even deserve a star at this point.. I’m truly disappointed. I literally just ordered a large plain pie and it literally tasted as if it was days old. The pizza was cold, dry and hard. Literally disgusting. The Mozzarella sticks were greasy. I’ve never had this experience with Scortinos pizza.

Come here and split a pie with extra cheese and pepperoni with people who wanna eat pizza...REAL pizza...

Pizza was delicious. I saw the Barstool review and decided to see for myself and I’m glad I did. The dough and crust were delicious, had a little sweet after-taste, soft but crispy at the same time. The sauce and cheese complemented it so well. Just an FYI, they do put parmesan cheese on the pizza so if you don’t like it just let them know beforehand. But overall pizza 10/10

All the food is great! As far as the pizza is concerned, it’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. I have been eating here for over 10 years, and the quality never changed. Worth the trip! The food are oh-so-good! We had manicotti, calamari, mussels, cheese and eggplant pizzas, chicken parm, tartufo and canolis… and oh boy, the food took my breath away! I literally can’t breathe right now, I am so full! Everything is yummy, the marinara sauce is to die for! And the mussels, can’t even describe it. It’s that good! The pizzas? Perfecto! All are a must try. If you’re looking for great Italian food, Sciortino’s Pizza in Perth Amboy is the place to be. 5 star experience for me and my friends. Went in for lunch and we were all satisfied!!! Started with Calamari and Mussels with Salads and Bruschetta!!! Sooo delicious and fresh!!! I ordered a parmigiana spaghetti and it was delicious, paired well with the mussels and very generous servings at that!!! Then came the pizzas!!! All thin crust and all delicious!!! The cheese steak pizza really tasted like any cheese steak sandwich in a pizza form!!! The onion and mushroom pizza was delicious and juicy!!! Even just the plain pizza was perfect and delicious with the right amount of sweetness!!! And for dessert we had cannoli and Tartuffo which are very delicious yet not overly sweet!!! Overall it was a very satisfying and filling lunch!!! It was busy as a lot of customers just come and go to order and pick up!!! Will definitely come back here again and bring people I know who will enjoy a very authentic, cozy and homey feeling Italian cooking!!!

When I saw the other reviews I thought they were bugging. And after buying my pizza, yeah they were absolutely bugging. This pizza is GREAT. No complaints from me! By far the best pizza I've had.

Placed pick up order 2 tray pies and 2 orders of Italian chicken wings. One pizza asked for sausage and olives. Got sausage and onions. Onion were raw and frozen. Italian wings was supposed to be ranch and tomato sauce. Got Buffalo sauce. Called to complain. Ask for manager and was told there isn't one. Was told I would have to bring back the pizza that was wrong but would have to pay for a new one. It cost me $80 for my order already. Next time I will take the further drive to south amboy. This place went down hill.Sorry. Definitely won't be back.Should of looked at the other surveys before I even went.
