Huge plastic string in the rice almost choke my self ridiculous, also they are forcing a %18 tip on your bill, even if it’s one person, and they don’t even inform you of it, they just gratuity to your bill.

Today I visited this restaurant it was cold when I ordered something to drink with this cold like some infusion they didn't have anything then I ordered a chicken cause that wasn't bad at all, the parihuela I ordered was lacking in salt just like their lomo saltado their chicken was more or less but I have to be careful that I did like their potatoes of the 4 desserts I bought the pudding nothing to see, passion fruit cheesecake more or less I understand that the tip is often a service of 4 or but I ordered takeout and in the end the tip was 18% including even what I was going to take home and I have no problem with tipping because I give it wherever I want to eat, where I am well served but the service is very poor in this place I arrived for lunch and just in case the waitress was having lunch she left her lunch on her table so she could serve me I think she approached my table when I had already finished my lunch I didn't like the hospitality at all. This restaurant and to charge you the 18% tip at least the owner or manager must make sure to have A1 service.

Really solid food for a really good price. We tried a bunch of stuff including the roasted chicken, maduros, tamale, and some mashed potato that was deep fried. I also had a slice of tres leches that i took back. The plantains were pretty good, not fully ripe though. The tamale I wasn't too impressed with. Very different from the Mexican variant and not in a good way in my opinion. The chicken however was really freaking good. We ordered a whole chicken and demolished it. The fried mashed potato was pretty good but just too filling for me. As for the tres leche, I was not a fan of this one. The cake was chunky, I couldn't tell if it was nuts or poorly mixed batter. Service was really good, but i had my Puerto Rican buddy with me to speak spanish. I would have been in a bit of trouble trying to speak english i feel like. This place is in a kind of a sketchy area just to be warned but sometimes that's where the best food hides! Thanks for the food!

I had a terrible experience here. The food is great but the last two times I have been there the service was awful. I have also been added an 18% gratuity those two last times, my table was for 3! And every time I went there before I tipped at least 22%! I discussed this with the manager and he gave me no explanation, he said it's on the menu that a service fee would be added on tables of four or more, which was not ny case, we were 3, and the manager did not care at all even after I complained twice!!

The service is terrible, it took them more than an hour to give me my order and in the end they didn't give me a complete order, very bad service, I don't recommend it. I'm not going back to that place
