Francesco's Italian restaurant & pizzeria

Perfect atmosphere for a casual family dining experience. It was our first time there to meet family from New Jersey and the Pocono Mountains. It was a half-way point for meeting, and was chosen due to the positive reviews and extensive menu. What a treat! Food was unbelievably delicious, sauces and fish sooooo fresh and cooked perfectly and served hot. Bread was wonderful, bruschetta was all fresh with a light and crispy bread base. Service was excellent and the owner and cook were so proud of their meals , rightly so! The prices were so reasonable, you would pay much more elsewhere for half the quality. Meals were also plentiful portions. BYOB is a plus. We liked it so much we reserved for another family meetup and all agreed this would be our go-to stop. I don’t usually write restaurant reviews but I had to let others know what a diamond in Phillipsburg this place is.

I ordered a large pizza with mushrooms. When the pizza arrived and we open the box on the table, the toppings have slid all the way to one side and made the pizza was so soggy you couldn’t even lift it. It was so limp. I ordered off an app called slice. I first gave the restaurant an opportunity with my feedback and had no reply. I then spoke to slice Customer Service and they told me that the restaurant refuses to say or do anything about it. At minimum, the restaurant could have called and at least apologize. I would never buy here from here again, anyone having your pizza delivered beware. Plus it was nothing to brag about. How Rude!

Ordered pizza last night through Uber Eats since we had a promo code. The toppings we wanted were not available on the app, so after placing the order, I called Francesco's. The owner, Sergio happened to answer the call and accomodated my request. He took my credit card over the phone and confirmed the entire order. The pizza was VERY delicious and was delivered on-time (scheduled for a later delivery). Will definitely order pizza from there again.

We were traveling through on a 14 hour road trip and saw the good reviews and chose to stop. We were not disappointed at all. The food we had was delicious, I just wish we had more room, or an opportunity to take to go, for the most delicious looking fresh meticulously crafted deserts.
I will definitely plan to stop, or may plan the trip in order to stop next time I am through there.
