This was my first time coming to this establishment and let me start by saying I was highly upset. There was first no one to greet us at the door so we believed that we were supposed to sit ourselves. After we sat down we heard the staff having conversations in regards to our table. After a couple of minutes, I called over a server and she handed us menus and took our drink order. When I received my order after taking a couple of sips, my throat immediately started hurting. So I begin to look in the cup, and I see something black on a piece of ice. I used to work in the food industry, so now I’m thinking was that MOLD water that I just consumed? As I am writing this review, my throat still hurts and I may need to go to urgent care. On top of the black mold in my cup, the knife was dirty with some yellow residue probably from a previous guest. I definitely have mixed feelings about this location. Our server was so sweet and nice but the experience with the water and the knives has me questioning when’s the last time a health inspector came?

Food is decent/ service not so good but it is a fast food spot so you really can’t expect much. Went here for a late night dessert and got the check dropped at our table without even asking if we were ready for our check or if we wanted anything else.

Worst Bar ever particularly the bartender! Our server was Francine. She doesn't smile. Doesn't manage a bar correctly. No personal skills. Basically ignored. Aweful. And her attitude is horrible. The bar was not crowded. We waited an extremely long time for simple drinks...beer.
I got the wrong beer. No apology. No "can I get you something else" Nothing . My friends got shots and the pour between both was unequal. When questioned she indicated one was a double ...but that friend indicated he didn't request a double. And my other friend didn't even get a standard shot.
I have been to other locations and trust me, it's just this one and particularly this server.
Never again. Now I can see why they aren't busy!

Never had such a bad experience at any restaurant and even for Applebees it’s disappointing. Started with dirty plates that were never washed being handed to us. Then, waiter took a long time bringing all items because he was making 40 mins of small talk with other tables and collecting tips instead of attending to his other tables with customers still waiting to be served. Food was decent as much as you can expect from Applebees. However, the check had a $1.10 surcharge for every house margarita we ordered. The definition of house liquor is a bar's most economical liquor selection. It's the default liquor used when a customer doesn't specify a brand. Typically, anywhere else and restaurants similar to Applebees like Chilli’s, when you order a well drink, it would not have an extra charge. If I wanted the upgrade to a higher shelf liquor like the 1800 tequila this Applebees says is their “house tequila” even though it is a higher shelf liquor, I would have asked them for it. It is unfair for them to falsely advertise their drinks. With this policy the manager was enforcing, every drink on their menu should indicate that what they advertise is a non-alcoholic drink and that adding liquor to their drinks is an extra $0.99+ per drink.

I was there today January 6,2025 and the server was indifferent, she took too long to bring the drinks to the table and at the end I ask for my drink to be change because it didn’t taste the same and she came back with the same drink, at the end I finished living the hall drink there …..

Jackie R has been our server alot she is awesome we love Applebee's of Piscataway Jackie is so friendly wish we could come more often thanks Jackie fora great night
Careful ordering delivery. The cook forgets to add any dressing on salads or provide on side. Salad so dry. I ordered the Oriental Chicken salad and it's so dry. Dine in it was good but takeout, I guess these cooks don't care as much yet we pay more for delivery. Now have to have the Oriental Chicken Salad with Olive Garden dressing, all I have. This 9nly happened at the Piscataway Applebee's.

Great and fast service. Waitress and Manager very friendly. Told them we were short on time for a movie and they got our meal out quickly.
I had the $9.99 Chicken Sandwich Combo and my wife had the $9.99 Bacon Burger Combo.
It was the best and largest Chicken Sandwich I have ever had. My wife also loved the burger. The fries were fresh and crisp. You can’t beat a meal out for $21.30. Highly recommended.
