I love Midori. I eat here often but today will be my last day after witnessing a food handler (employee) coughing and hog spitting in the area where the food is prepped and made. I observed this employee hog spit not even 2ft from raw fish into a garbage can under the counter top where the food is served and wipe his mouth with an ungloved hand. Not once did I see this man wash his hands or step out of the prep area until we reported this to the manager. Not only is this unsanitary, this is a safety risk and health hazard for all customers eating there. I should have never paid for my food but its ok. I will be reporting this to the health department.

The situation is extremely critical.I brought fried rice for my pregnant wife last Thursday. Near the end, she suddenly complained that something tasted extremely bitter and spat something out. It was a piece of concrete. Concrete contains toxic carcinogenic substances, and I'm worried about the potential impact on my pregnant wife & baby. Please check why there was concrete in the food and let me know how you will compensate. If I don't hear back, I will find the solution on my way.

Sashimi lunch take out got me sick. Some fish looked dry on the edges and tuna was stiff/did not feel quality like butter compared to other places - not sure if I got a bad batch. I have ordered from here before but never where its only raw fish but now Im nervous to order again as now I see the true quality of the fish.

Sushi was very good but the server was rude and basically threw us out at 3pm while we were still finishing our food - they close between 3pm and 5pm. The restaurant was extremely quiet besides us and another table for lunch. She kept giving us dirty looks and by 255pm said we have 5 minutes and had to leave. Their crew was eating on the other side of the restaurant and we were very quiet and enjoying our lunch. They lost a good amount of business because of her attitude. I don't suggest visiting this place. It's a shame because they weren't very busy at all and to be so rude to paying customers on the new year.

This place used to have the best sushi in the area. Not sure what happened. The last two orders have been so disappointing. Hopefully the Owners will address the quality issue soon, otherwise I am not sure how they will make it in the long run.
Food is not bad because they are very much the same from any psedo-Japanese restaurants you go to. My family had lunch here and we liked the atmosphere. The staff is also friendly. The one complain is the unagi and the salmon have bones. Just becareful.

I think Midori is the best sushi I have had. It is always fresh and the presentation is always amazing! we always feel welcome as the staff is very friendly and welcoming! ( they don't judge me when I ask for a fork!) The best!!!

Great atmosphere and service with ok grade sushi. Wouldn’t recommend the sashimi or nigiri pieces, better to stick to the rolls. It is also BYOB if that’s your thing with a wine/liquor store next door.
