Best soft serve I have ever had!!! Honestly... I can't say enough good things about this place. To say I was pleasantly surprised I'd an understatement. I got a soft serve swirl with cookie dough bites and it was delicious. The ice cream is perfectly creamy, and the vanilla had an almost marshmallow-y taste to it. It also sort of reminded me of the cream inside an Oreo. Perfectly balanced between creamy and cold- it didn't taste watered down or too "Icy". My mom and my 16 month old also agreed. (Ok, my mom agreed. My son was a fan but he doesn't quite understand just how good it was yet.) My son didn't finish his, so we brought it back with us to upstate NY. Yes, it was good enough to save in the freezer at our hotel and then to shlep back home so I could enjoy one more time. And also so my husband could try it since I couldn't stop raving about it. Also worth noting- I'm very impressed at their variety. They have lots of soft serve and hard ice cream flavors. I hope I have another work trip that brings me back, cause I will be dreaming of this ice cream until then!

Petrucci has been a long-standing fixture in Piscataway. You'll find it tucked away in a busy parking lot, so be prepared to get a bit creative when it comes to finding a parking spot. It's situated in a small strip with just two other stores, right next to a liquor shop. Now, about the service--it's decent, but it can get pretty busy, so expect a bit of a wait if you decide to visit. However, the ice cream they serve is quite good, especially the vanilla with a cone (my go to- and a classic). I personally enjoy it when I go, and the experience is generally welcoming. They offer a wide variety of flavors and are happy to make recommendations. If you're thinking about stopping by, I'd encourage you to do so. But I'd also recommend scoping out the parking situation with a quick drive-by and making your own assessment, as parking can sometimes be a bit challenging as it is popular.

This is our local go to ice cream places. We have been going here for years and love it. Lots of hard ice cream and ices to choose from as well as my favorite vanilla and chocolate twist soft serve. We have also had there chocolate cookie ice creams sandwiches, my son's favorite. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
