We had ordered Paneer Tikka Lolipop, Dewani Handi and Sitphal Rasmalai. The time taken to bring in the dishes was very short which I appreciate. But the food is not worth the price. The restroom was not very clean. It was extremely noisy in there.
Paneer Tikka Lolipo was dry inside and the outer was very oily and thick. Dewani Handi had high spice level even though we requested otherwise. Sitaphal Rasmalai was okay-ish.
It seems like the focus is on more on the presentation to make it visiually appealing rather than the food actually tasting good.
Will not be returning here.

Not a good restaurant. I personally love saffron in Ahmedabad and in other locations of India. This one, is more like saffron allowed/sold their branding rights to this restaurants which was terrible in taste before. I had visited the previous restaurant at this place, it was mediocre at best. This one, is the same staff, same chef for sure, just decoration, interior and furniture has been changed. I tried the same food items I ordered with previous ownership, and it was the same taste and arrangement. Their deserts are overpriced. The item attached in the pic is supposed to be Bhel. Only item missing in the pic is chutney mix they gave alongside. And onions sample that looks empty. Noway this puffy rice with small side of sev would qualify for good bhel anyway. Lame attempt at rebranding which you still keep same chef but hike up the menu.
If the prices were down then this quality okay and understandable youre targeting certain demographic. But with the prices of actual saffron calibre, combine with quantity and quality they offer is no good.
We ordered couple entrees, malai kofta and dal tadka. The food was below average, with an insane amount garlic. We ate some but got overwhelmed by garlic flavor. We were in a rush otherwise would have asked the dishes to be redone.
The rotis and rice were average. Maybe the chaat appetisers would have been good but we didnt try those.

Samosa chat and gulab jamun were good. Chilli paneer, hakka noodles and paneer butter masala were not. Manchow soup was more of a thick chilli paneer gravy.

Saffron's paneer methi exceeded all my expectations. The dishes like Chinese bhel and vadapav was exceptional as well. Highly suggested if anyone is looking for Indian cuisine.

The atmosphere was good, loved the vibe.
Would recommend walk-in on weekdays and reservations as the wait time on weekends can be ~20 to 30 minutes in rush hour.
The food was amazing and in total awe with the indian chaats. Rasmalai was my favorite with a perfect sweet taste.
Chili Paneer was crunchy from outside and soft from inside. Soup was nice and creamy.
Chaat was flavorful and amazing.
Felt like the service was a bit rushed but can understand due to the weekend crowd. Overall it was a good experience.

They really had some of the best service I have in a while. Very kind and helpful team. They suggested me to try dosa and panipuri, which I may not have ordered otherwise.
It was nice to have dishes that were freshly cooked and well balanced.
Visit this place for best Indian food in piscataway.

A must visit spot in picastway if you are looking for Indian food.
Whenever you get cravings, this place you should go for Dabeli, Vadapav and a lot of different chaats.
We tried the paneer, cheese butter masala and Rice with some really delicious daal.
The ambiance was decent, with clean and great hygiene.
