SUKH SAGAR INDIAN CUISINE

I had an amazing dining experience at Sukh Sagar in Piscataway! The food is absolutely delicious, and you can really taste the authenticity in every dish. Their Chole Bhature is out of this world—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with the spicy chickpeas. The Paneer Tikka is also a must try along with their Schezwan Hakka Noodles. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is top-notch. If you’re craving high-quality Indian food for a great price in a cozy setting, Sukh Sagar is the place to be. Highly recommend it!

Good quantity and taste

Horrible!!!! We’ve had food here for years and came back after a year. Unfortunately, the quality has degraded, and so has the service! One star is the only option I had available!

We had Chole Bathura (the most flattest Bathura I have every seen / ate ), Gobi Manchuria (taste was ok), Garlic Naan with Methi Malai Mutter (Burnt Garlic naan, Methi Malai mutter wasn't upto the mark, when we requested to make it spicy they just added cut chillies and serverd back in a new serving bowl :) ), Spring roll chat ( I coldest and saltless chat I have ever had ). On top of it Gratuity they levied ~13 while we are 4 adults and 1 kid. I heard earlier that if it is more than 5 adults then there would be gratuity, but our experience was different.

Visited on 1/12/2025 for buffet. Choice and quality of food spread is below average. Also the space is too congested. Not worth for the hefty price and a mandatory gratuity. Totally not satisfied.

Ordered delivery Veg Pulav and Hakka Noodles and spring rolls all MILD but instead got Very HOT spicy Veg Biryani and rotted onions with strong pungent smell of the onions in Hakka Noodles, honestly it made me sick, for real. And instead of two separate orders of spring rolls the combined in one and gave one very little sauce. Spring rolls came soggy. If they can't provide what you order then why offer the options in first place for spice level? Why would they give Veg Biryani instead of Veg Pulav MILD as if I won't know the difference? I'll never order from nor go to this restaurant.

Sunday buffet was tasty. There were decent verities. Idly and sambar were authentic. Biryani, naan, and paneer masala tasted good but found a bit greasy. There was bonda, which was good, and there were other fritters, which were just passable. The complimentary dosas were great. deserts were plain/ ordinary glob jamoon and fried bread crumbs with some cream and chocolate dressing. But there was chocolate fountain, which my family enjoyed with strawberries. Overall, this is the only South indian vegetarian buffet in our neck of the woods. Very much on par with Dosa Grill, perhaps better than them on some dishes.

One of the best veg indian cuisine we taste, also get option for no onion no garlic as well in buffet.

The service and ambience was good but I didn’t like the food from my recent visit. The dosa was very dry & the masala inside tasted very bland. The rasam vada tasted average!

Owner makes u feel home and super comfortable.. best service ever.
New decor is awesome and inviting.
