The lady serving was extremely rude rushing me and talking nasty to me and saying comments under her breath at me. They refused to serve me items telling me I was late when in fact they hadn’t closed for at least another hour. The burger that I did get was tremendously overcooked and tasteless

I noticed that there are no vegetarian options available for sandwiches. It would be great if the menu could include vegetarian choices to accommodate those who follow a vegetarian diet.

Woody’s is so slept on, it’s crazy. Cheesesteaks take a while to make but they make them well, to order. Everyone working there is very friendly, and they have a lot of variety and even accept meal swipes. I will frequent this spot.

Extremely mid. As I reflect more on it it's truly insulting the type of food you can get away with serving students. All food at rutgers is extremely sodium heavy and more miss than hit. Woodys really isn't that different from bodegas on college ave like campus deli and foods, but it lacks any charm and has similarly not great prices despite having the economy of scale to not necessitate said prices.

A hidden gem on the Busch campus, and they take meal swipes so that's a bonus.
Delicious.

Woody's Cafe has truly become a staple in my daily routine. The shining star of this campus eatery is the daily sandwich selection. Without fail, each sandwich is a mouthwatering delight, and the array of choices is nothing short of impressive. Whether you're in the mood for a classic club sandwich, a veggie-loaded wrap, or something more exotic, Woody's has you covered. To accompany your meal, you'll find a well-rounded selection of beverages that cater to all tastes. While the quality of the food is undeniably outstanding, I've encountered one small hiccup during my visits: the occasional long checkout line. It's a testament to Woody's popularity, but it can be a bit inconvenient during busy hours. However, this minor inconvenience is quickly forgotten when you step into the spacious and impeccably clean eating area. With ample seating and a spotless environment, you can truly savor your meal without distractions. What makes Woody's Cafe shine even brighter is its dedicated and friendly staff. The team always goes the extra mile to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of excellent. From taking your order with a smile to promptly addressing any special requests, they make every visit a pleasure. In addition to its culinary offerings, Woody's has managed to create an inviting and cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a quick bite, a casual study session, or catching up with friends. The cafe's warm ambiance is complemented by tasteful decor and ample natural light, creating an environment that encourages relaxation and focus. In conclusion, Woody's Cafe is not just a place to grab a sandwich; it's an experience. With an extensive menu, friendly staff, and a clean and welcoming space, it's a go-to spot for anyone on campus. While you may occasionally have to contend with a line, the reward of a delicious meal and a comfortable atmosphere is well worth it. I wholeheartedly recommend Woody's Cafe for its delightful food and the overall positive dining experience it offers.

The problem with this restaurant is that it's much too small, and so they can only provide a limited number of items and often have a hard time keeping up. The kitchen area is tiny and very crowded. I don't know how they manage to put out as much food as they do as fast as they do, but they can still get very backed up. Since it serves a large part of the campus where there is nothing else around, it's pretty frustrating that it's all there is. I wish they'd knock out the back wall and expand into the usually mostly empty atrium behind them. If they doubled the size maybe they could provide more complete breakfasts, hot entrees with sides, healthier choices, ethnic dishes, add a salad bar, and other things that should be available in a modern school restaurant. What they do have is pretty reasonably priced, and the philly steak is very good.
Good food for decent prices. Location is a bit out of the way tho.
