Love the chicken and waffles! One of my favorite spots when I have a chance to visit Pitman. It is a tight fit, but it reminds me of the little bistro's from when I lived in Philly. They make the most of their space and have a wonderful appeal. So far, all the food I've had as been very yummy!
Visiting relatives and we heard about Milkweed and decided to go for lunch with my wife and cousin. We all ordered different dishes of food and all our dishes were delicious and fresh. The service was excellent and the decor was unique. We will definitely return before we head back home.
After leaving Sunday church service, a friend of my family suggested that we have brunch at a restaurant in Pitman, NJ. When we arrived at “Milkweed”, we were pleasantly surprised to the quaint, light, and open ambiance of this eatery. The staff instantly greeted us, seated us, and catered to us. Milkweed table + market is a charming and cozy restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff. The menu offers a variety of options, and the food is highly praised. Notable dishes include the Milkweed Truffled Egg sandwich and the rock sugar studded Belgian waffles. The restaurant's aesthetic is charming, but seating is limited and the space is small. It can get busy, leading to potential wait times and issues with seating. Many visitors enjoy the comfortable atmosphere and find the food delicious, especially the crispy potatoes, western omelette, and chicken and waffle benedict. The restaurant is cash only, which may be inconvenient for some. The staff is helpful and accommodating, making it a good place for small occasions or just a casual meal. The bathroom is also noted as a good spot for taking selfies. The inside atmosphere is considered much better than outside, where the sun can be scorching. Many guests have had positive experiences, praising the excellent service, especially from Jenn, who always goes above and beyond. The rooftop space is beautiful and perfect for events like a baby sprinkle, with healthy and delicious food that accommodates dietary needs such as gluten allergy. Despite some wait times and limited seating, visitors often recommend Milkweed for its delicious food, friendly staff, and cozy vibe.
