So glad I found her again! She used to be on East Second street when I was little and I always ordered the Stew Beef. Well I ordered it today and it was just as good as I remember!! Ms. Marie was such a pleasant memory in my childhood… the food even better!! I highly recommend!
My husband and I purchased 1 akee & saltfish with food, just incase we didn't like it. As we tasted it, we returned back to Marie's Jamaican Restaurant and purchased a second one! Honestly... it was OUTSTANDING! One of the best we've ever had. 1 million stars people.
I stopped by this restaurant for the first time today and ordered the oxtails, stewed chicken, and curry chicken large meals. The food was absolutely delicious—full of flavor, and the meat was incredibly tender, melt-in-your-mouth tender. The meals I ordered were to feed 3 adults and 2 children. There is more than enough left for 2nds for everyone. The service was just as impressive—very friendly and kind. I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you Marie's!
