Great place
We had our residency graduation party here last night. The food, service and room was done beautiful. Would definitely recommend.
Decent banquet hall, the service was very friendly and accommodating. The location had a very scenic view of the inlet. There were Two different rooms that were well manage. While we were present there were two different parties occurring at the same time with no interference or noticeable delays. Lots of parking. Full service bar, and the bar tender was very accommodating. For our party there was a well planned buffet line, dessert table and ice cream cart; which the kids loved! Thank you for making the family event memorable.
Beautiful water front restaurant with fresh seafood!
Absolutely awful service. We went here today for our grandmother. Drove over an hour. Made reservations for 7 last week. We walk in and they tell us they’re closed for the season. The lady manager acted as if we were in the wrong. No apology or anything.
I would NEVER come here!!! I made a reservation a week ago for dinner for my Grandma. We drove an hour to come here only to be told they were closed for the season when we arrived. I told them I made a reservation last week and the manager told me they were supposed to call me to cancel. I never received a call. The manager was extremely rude and treated us like it was our fault.
Love this restaurant so much! We were there for a baby shower! The place was just beautiful! Beautiful views with the water and boats going by. We saw a lot of star fish in the water. It was so cool! Not to speak how good the food is and how good the service is! Will definitely come back if we have a big event! It’s definitely a beautiful place for wedding and all kinds of parties!

Closed.
Suggest the chef re-taste the catered steak that is served. Was un-eatable due to either quality or preparation

Went to a 90th birthday party. Food was excellent and so was the service. There was someone carving flank steak & turkey, trays of salmon, stuffed flounder w/crab meat, chicken, potatoes, zucchini w/onions & red peppers, delicious Manhattan clam chowder, salad, & a nice fruit salad. For dessert there was an ice cream station, trays of cookies and of course, the bday cake!! There were several parties going on, & each room was very nice. I'd definitely throw a party at the Lobster Shanty!!

What a phenomenal experience. I went here for the first time for my birthday yesterday. The food was truly scrumptious, our Waitress Peyton was very attentive and hospitable, and the price of everything (there were six of us), was very reasonable. I've become an instant fan and look forward to returning soon. ??

UNETHICAL COMPANY ?I attended an event at the Lobster Shanty in Point Pleasant Beach, and what should have been a pleasant occasion was marred by an unsettling experience. During the event, I Overheard FROM ACROSS THE RESTAURANT a man who had introduced himself earlier as the manager, yelling and cursing at a woman, who was clearly distressed and crying. I was appalled that such behavior could take place in a professional setting.
What made this situation even more disturbing was finding out after deep diving, that this individual was not just a manager, but the Vice President of Chefs International. It's disheartening to see that a corporate company like this one seems more interested in profiting from its patrons than in providing a safe and respectful environment for its employees.
I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who values a positive, respectful atmosphere. It's clear that the well-being of employees is not a priority here, and that reflects poorly on the company as a whole.
Parking: Disappointed.
