Wonderful patio spot right on the water! We went on a Saturday after fishing all morning. Great atmosphere with a live band playing. Service quick and friendly. Food came out fast and was delicious! I had the summer salad with coconut shrimp...yum!
We visited the Wharfside while staying in Lavallette NJ. Plenty of parking. No salad or bread with your meal but they did serve corn fritters which were so so. Our waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail which was very tasty and actually “jumbo”. We then had the cold water lobster tails which came with French fries and great tasting coleslaw. The tails were not very large but they were extremely tasty and sweet. For desert...
The food was very good. Our waiter was very apathetic to us, not sure if he was having a bad day or wasnt happy we didnt order extra things with our meal. Both main courses we ordered were close to the most expensive choice you could choose. We had a window seat and enjoyed watching the boat traffic.
