Been going there for years..fish mkt style ,tables benches chairs very simple. Foood is fantastic but dont expect to get any menue items deep fried..thats a no no there..Lobster bisque and NE chowder to die for..only issue best to go early parking,street, can be a challenge and it small but offer limited outdoor dinning. BYO too
I had the crab legs meal, the crab legs were fine. Not the best, not the worst. The side of pasta was drowning in butter, with jarred garlic and no seasoning or salt, so it tasted rather bland and WAY too much butter. I also got a side of veggies, they were cooked well, but no salt or any kind of seasoning. Overall, the price was cheaper than other places that have crab legs, but I wouldn't get this meal again and it didn't make me want to try anything else they had...
Spikes never disappoints. The freshest fish you can ever find. It's all done in a healthy manner and simple but absolutely delicious. Today I have the lobster roll and my partner had the flounder sandwich. We also had the New England clam chowder . The first words my partner said is she would come back anytime. I came here after fishing for many years but this time stopped on the way back home from the shore. It was absolutely jammed on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch....
