As always a great experience. Food, service (Fabiana was exceptional). Chef came by to explain dishes

Very loud table in the center of the left side of the restaurant while there were plenty of open tables on the other side of the restaurant in a much quieter atmosphere. Overpriced for the size of the portions ,service was average at best Could barley hear our server it was so loud Left disappointed

This restaurant never disappoints! The food is amazing, the service is wonderful, and it is one of our favorite places to enjoy special occasions.

We had a lovely server who was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and took great care of us. The food is always top notch. The specials are on the expensive end so ask the price as to not be surprised by the bill. It's a byob so that is great! We will be back soon!

Outstanding food and service. And the front desk was extremely professional and nice, even after we had to change the number of people in our group 3 different times.

This is a 5 star restaurant. The food is exceptional. Great atmosphere and impeccable service. My favorite dish is the pork chop. I have tried other pork chops in different restaurants and no one has even come close to this Chefs.

Everything was prepared very well. The mushroom puff Appetizer and chicken entree were a little salty (in my opinion) but I know people love salt. I don't. Loved the rice pudding - first time trying that.

Loved our evening at Poached Pear. The menu was excellent and preparation was perfect. The meals came out hot and presentation was very nice. The only negative was the noise level, but that seems to be everywhere anymore.

I came across this place while researching restaurants at the Jersey Shore and am very glad I found it, Reservations are a must even though we went off season. We were seated immediately at a table for two. The menu is quite varied and supplemented with a number of specials. The place is very loud despite fabric baffles on the walls. People no longer have restaurant voices. We skipped the apps although there were some very tempting ones. My wife had the salmon that she enjoyed very much. It was served with a large portion of perfectly roasted vegetables that she loved. I had the brined pork chop that was large and absolutely delicious. It was served with asparagus and over a wonderful risotto. Our plates were cleaned off. Service was perfect. This was perhaps one of the best dinners I have ever had in New Jersey if not anywhere. This place is a BYOB.

Nice room, attentive staff, great food. Not really a hidden gem, as it is perpetually booked solid, but this if your looking for upscale at the beach, this is the place. Really good experience.
