This is my favorite restaurant. The food is always cooked to perfection, who ever the chef is you are amazing and thank you for the delicious food. The ambiance is always very classy, and quiet love taking my wife out to eat here we always have a great time!

There are so many restaurants to choose from in Monmouth and Northern Ocean County but The Poached Pear is among our favorites. For the quality of the food, service and atmosphere you receive, the value is high. Similar "upscale" restaurants over charge and under deliver. I love the pork chop but we've never been disappointed with anything on the menu. One of your best BYOB options in this area.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary with a traditional duck dinner. We know exactly what to expect when we dine at Poached Pear and that's the reason it's one of our favorite go to places for dinner. Our server Chris was wonderful. Charming and friendly. We had our own little niche which made the evening private. Another wonderful night out.

Always need to get the corn chowder but one time I'm almost tempted to get a few soups as dinner as they're all so good. Our party thoroughly enjoyed the scallops, fish special and lamb . Zero complaints, always can count on a great meal and service.

Two people ordered the special angel hair pasta with Shrimp. Both people loved it! I ordered the veal dish. It was outstanding! I have been here a few times and order something different every time. Poached Pear does not disappoint. Food is consistently very good!

The dining experience was fantastic. Our server was polite and attentive and the meal was exceptional.

Everything was outstanding. Two of our group had the lamb shank special. Lots of fall off the bone meat. Two had the fish special- delicious! We went on a Thursday, definitely not as crowded as a Friday or Saturday! Our favorite restaurant!

I had the seared tuna with soba noodles & vegetables. It was probably the best seared tuna I've had! My friend had the scallops & risotto, which were also delicious. Our server was terrific & knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Very loud table in the center of the left side of the restaurant while there were plenty of open tables on the other side of the restaurant in a much quieter atmosphere. Overpriced for the size of the portions ,service was average at best Could barley hear our server it was so loud Left disappointed

This restaurant never disappoints! The food is amazing, the service is wonderful, and it is one of our favorite places to enjoy special occasions.
