Baron's has been my go-to place.. but lately their bagels have been tasting off.. kinda like dirt. I had to stop eating my bagel today (and I purchased half a dozen) because the taste was so overwhelmingly awful. Bummed out.

My first time at Baron's Bagels in Pt Pleasant and I am very impressed with their food! I ordered both breakfast - sausage, egg, cheese on a bagel, and lunch - turkey & cheese on a rye bagel. Bagel was awesome and there was plenty of egg and sausage. Lunch sandwich was also a great size and came with some potato salad, fruit, a cookie, and a chocolate mint - all a very pleasant surprise. Pricing is fair, portions are great and the food is delicious!

Had to bring my girlfriend from North Carolina to try this bagel shop and say it’s the best she’s ever had. Likewise. The owners are such nice people with welcoming hospitality. I always get the pork roll egg and cheese on an everything buttered bagel and Barons makes it perfectly. I can’t wait to visit my hometown again and return here.
