This was the first time we visited Half Moon Point after driving by and saying "we gotta try that place" for the last 2 summers. It was my birthday and we went with our family of 4 which included a teenager and toddler. Everyone raved about their food. My son said they were the best buffalo wings he's ever had! We had the wedge salad and hit crab dip which were very tasty. My husband had the short ribs special and I had the blackened swordfish special. Little guy...
Great menu with unique items you wouldn't necessarily find at other similar restaurants (ie grilled peaches with whipped ricotta, grilled octopus). Lots of choices from fish to steak and sandwiches. Service was good - only issue was that our main meal was slow to come out of the kitchen, likely due to a large party upstairs. We didn't necessarily mind, but our waitress should have given us a heads up.
Hosted a baby shower here and it was an amazing experience! Sam was organized and responsive and we felt so taken care of. The space is perfect and the food is excellent, I cannot recommend Half Moon Point enough for any event!
