MonAlyssa Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

The place was empty, yet we had to wait for a table, and the food took a while. Once it arrived, the food was a mixed bag. The Fettuccine Romano was not enjoyable...too much sauce, spinach not mentioned, and not enjoyable. Pizza and Chicken Sophia were very good. Service was fair, but not super attentive. We hardly saw our waitress, had to get up and get our own spices, and had to request the salads that were included with our meals. Yeah, she never mentioned them, and had no intention of brining them. She said, “Yeah. Do you want them?” Ahh, yeah…we do.

I will never return. Skip this place…hard!

I was Hopeful of this small Italian restaurant as the reviews seemed promising, but at first coming in, it doesn’t even have a proper entrance to the restaurant. Then because I didn't Have a rsvp they put me and my other two guests outside. The patio is decorated nicely but it’s literal by the garbage and kitchen…. Waited 20 minutes for a house salad and then another 30 min with no dinner. Once the mosquitos cam out - I aaked For the food to go and I’m still waiting for the food to be packed up

Had the most amazing seafood carbonara! Evan was incredible as a server and made sure that we were totally taken care of. I would absolutely go back again. What a great little find.

POINT PLEASANT: If you are looking for a spot that checks all the boxes, MonAlyssa Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria is it! This family-owned Italian restaurant has the cutest dog-friendly outdoor patio, and the food is just as amazing as the vibes. Not only is their Italian fare delicious, but they also offer a full vegan menu and can make entrées gluten-free upon request; restaurants that cater to everyone’s needs are truly #1 in our book.

We indulged in the vegan garlic bread and vegan vodka pasta, and we left with happy bellies and already cannot wait to go back.

Pups can enter through the main entrance and head straight to the back patio, which is decorated with a colorful mural, gorgeous flowers, string lights, and plenty of charm. They are BYOB, so grab your favorite bottle and buon appetito!

Placed over a $600 catering order with them and they forgot to make it. Everyone high and dry with no food and they could care less. Claim they got a new cell phone so they didn't see the order even though they confirmed it. Complete jerks!!!!!!

Went in for a slice after work was looked at by 3 people who walked away no greeting, Place was dirty, garbage on floor on a Thursday night. I'd skip the pizza place plenty of others to choose from.

First of all, I have been going there for 20 years. My niece came from upstate New York to have chicken marsala! First, we waited forever just to get service and to get bread. It took an hour to get an appetizer then we finally got our dinner and I had a fly in my food, which was absolutely horrendous. Everyone I was with could not eat their food second, it was 85° in there the air conditioner was not working. I do not want to eat if I’m hot. My niece almost passed out because it was so hot. Very disappointing this place went downhill. Don’t know what happened. Will not go back again and I am a local served warm water also and all of the paint needs to be painted. It’s all chipped and filthy. It’s disgusting. It is not up kept for standards of a restaurant that should be in point Pleasant.
