As many regulars of this wonderful Pompton Lakes spot know, on April 17th they had a serious fire causing the closing the business indefinitely. An incredible loss to Pompton Lakes and the many customers who called Golden Garden their regular place. I did for well over 10 years. Please keep the two wonderful ladies, if you are a regular you know who I mean, in your thoughts as they and their families chart a course forward and eventually come back from this devastating loss. Tried their combo for the first time schezwan chicken, brown rice, vegetables. It was ready so quickly, I was surprised. And the taste was amazing too. Liked the portion size, quick service and the taste.
Wife and I just bought our first Home and have been searching for the best Chinese food store with the best tasting food. Everything is properly seasoned food is always hot and the portions are great. Also other Chinese food in the area use a weird type of Rice which is disgusting but Golden Garden’s fried rice is to die for. The price is awesome for the quality of food we received. Thank God we Found our Favorite take out spot makes us feel Like we’re back in New York City.
