Recommend getting takeout and not actually dining there. The place is small if you're eating in. I've had take out from here probably 10 times over the past year and the food is always delicious. One thing to note is often the food is not ready at the time requested when ordering via GrubHub, so I've taken to showing up 15 mins after when they say. I've heard people say that delivery takes forever as well. Putting that all aside they are one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Spring Rolls, Soups, Pad Thai, Spicy Drunken Noddles all are excellent. They don't play with spice and if you order something on the spicy side, be prepared to sweat.

We really missed Dees Thai when it closed so we were happy when Pompton Thai opened. We have been several times for takeout and for eat in. The restaurant is tiny so you may not be able to sit. We have had and loved the drunken noodles, pad thai and garlic chicken. Crab rangoon appetizers are amazing and we especially love the duck rolls. The food is prepared to order and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Had dinner there. The food was quite good. I tried jungle curry and really liked it. The place is tiny. There were space heaters going to combat the cold outside. Every time the door opened we got cold. Service was very slow. I would order take out or delivery from there. Not sure I would eat in the “dining room”.

Properly prepared Thai food is one of the great cuisines of the world. Pompton Thai has potential, but isn't there yet. The Thai chicken wings were just ok, the papaya salad was lacking the sparkle of cilantro and fresh lime juice. Among the entrees, the clay pot shrimp was a hit, the mixed seafood was very good, and the soft shell crab only fair. The main problem is the kitchen. One appetizer never made it to the table, and the four that did were served about 5 minutes apart from each other. Main courses were served unevenly too, with one of our party waiting 5 minutes more, and another 10 minutes more. Overall, 4 appetizers amd 4 entrees took almost two hours. Not acceptable, especially, when all parties did not even have food at the same time. The place is tiny and wasn't even crowded, so the poor service (not the fault of the waitress) was puzzling and inexcusable. I may try Pompton Thai again for lunch because I think the kitchen has potential. But it was not in evidence on my first visit.
