The Den Eatery | Pompton Lakes, NJ

I recently ordered from The Den, it’s a charming new BYOB spot that has quickly become a favorite. The service was impeccable from start to finish; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. As for the food, every dish was a masterpiece—beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the perfectly seasoned appetizers to the mouthwatering entrees, each bite was a delight. The freshness of the ingredients and the chef's skillful preparation were evident in every course. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Got there at 6:45 and was seated right away but then no one came over for about 15 minutes. Finally put in our our and a hour later still nothing (and we had our 3 year old with us) finally brought out only my husbands order of 5 chicken wings and nothing else and then another woman came over asking if we were ready to order! so we ended up leaving (still had to pay for our 2 drinks and wings after waiting over a hour. Ended up going to Tony’s pizza down the street and had amazing quick service

They waited over 1 hour to inform me they could not accommodate an order placed @ 7:30pm. Sad service and no support.

We were there for dinner tonight. plenty of parking spots at the back of the restaurant. it was BYOB which we didn't know!! next time I will bring a bottle of wine for the amazing sushi platter. The wings were perfectly cooked and crispy. BBQ/garlic cheese sauce was my favorite. my boy even loved the miso soup & salad before the wings !! I definitely recommend this place and will go back again. ;)

The Den by far has the BEST wings around. We frequent sharky’s often and these knock them out of the park. Cooked perfectly, taste fresh and great sauce and dry rub options! Tried the sushi as well which was a great portion, extremely fresh and perfectly balanced. Looking forward to coming back and trying many more items. The place is spotless and our waitress was very informative and attentive!

Great service and food!

We were welcomed with sweet green tea and miso soup before we even placed our order. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very pleasant. The chef's special sushi was fresh and had a variety of fish options, with rice that was well-cooked, giving it a great taste and texture. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. You can enjoy chicken in all sorts of flavors.I would definitely recommend this place for a meal with friends or family.

The experience at this restaurant last weekend was fantastic. As a newly opened eatery, it offered professional chefs, excellent service, and great care for its guests. Our family had a wonderful time enjoying the delicious and plentiful food. The sushi and sashimi were excellent, but I especially recommend trying the chicken, which was uniquely flavored with a variety of special sauces.

Chicken was crispy! Lots and lots of flavor options to choose from. Sushi was fresh, and there was more than enough to go around (went with four people, we couldn’t finish so we had to take some home). The udon noodles were chewy and broth was great.I typically don’t like salad, but even the salad was good here. Chill atmosphere, friendly staff. Everything is 10/10.

The warm tea served when I first went made me feel comfortable and happy, the chicken was crispy and all three flavors were delicious, the sushi special and udon were also delicious, and the atmosphere with quiet music was nice.
