My husband, who eats sushi like its water, found this place one day and couldn't wait to show me. They are a small, cozy shop in a basement in the city. They have a respectively diverse menu for a sushi restaurant and make everything individually to order. With this in mind, yes please plan to spend time there. It is a bit pricey, but for us it is worth it every time.
highly recommend the chicken katsu. was probably the best chicken katsu i've had in my life. atmosphere + aesthetic was very authentic to how restaurants typically are in japan -- cozy, warm, and minimalistic. miso soup was great too, and our waitress was so sweet and attentive. thank you !
Loved the place. Amazing food and ambiance of a proper Japanese restaurant, Totally worth the price of admission. Sushi was fresh and the Ramen broth was mouth watering. Definitely going back multiple times to try their whole menu:)
