Sakrid is operating out of a different location during renovations, but it was still easy to get to and had plenty of convenient parking. The short detour was well worth it! Our group went on a very warm October day so we got cold brew, iced lattes with regular milk and iced lattes with oat milk. Some took it with nothing added and a few got vanilla or maple syrup. I think they were having an off day when I visited. The service was very friendly but exceedingly slow. Took about 15 minutes to get the espresso I ordered and their batch brewer was down. They have invested some serious money in their equipment (their batch brewer retails for over 10,000 dollars and their San Remo espresso machine is about 25000 dollars, I believe).With that kind of investment, I expected better. My favorite coffee shop ever! The consistency of how their drinks are made from different baristas is astounding. I rarely find a shop that makes espresso or macchiatos as good as I can at home, but Sakrid does it even better than me.
