Really nice, small coffee shop! It’s a good place to get some work done as well. There is good natural lighting and it’s in a great location!

Great coffee in a perfect space to sit with coffee in. Their programming is fun and imaginative too!

Probably the coolest place east of the Mississippi.

My favorite coffee shop ever! The consistency of how their drinks are made from different baristas is astounding. I rarely find a shop that makes espresso or macchiatos as good as I can at home, but Sakrid does it even better than me.

Coffee bitter but ok. The two girls in the service were kind of unfriendly, my espresso was served cold. Won’t come back. Maybe good co-working atmosphere.

Sakrid is operating out of a different location during renovations, but it was still easy to get to and had plenty of convenient parking. The short detour was well worth it! Our group went on a very warm October day so we got cold brew, iced lattes with regular milk and iced lattes with oat milk. Some took it with nothing added and a few got vanilla or maple syrup. Everything was top quality and the espresso drinks really impressed the coffee geeks (myself included). They use a medium roast for their espresso. It was really well dialed in and came out balanced, rich with well rounded flavor that held up to both types of milk. I will definitely go back again the next time I am in the area!

I think they were having an off day when I visited. The service was very friendly but exceedingly slow. Took about 15 minutes to get the espresso I ordered and their batch brewer was down. They have invested some serious money in their equipment (their batch brewer retails for over 10,000 dollars and their San Remo espresso machine is about 25000 dollars, I believe). With that kind of investment, I expected better. My espresso was muddy, bland and a little bitter. The cortado that replaced the drip coffee was okay, but not great. It is difficult to everything well, so I am always a little skeptical when small coffee shops with only a few locations roast their own beans. This place has clearly put a lot of time and money into thinking about brewing the best possible coffee, but I think their beans fail them.

It’s closed. And there was no update on here. Very disappointed.

Was passing through Princeton and stopped here for some coffee and treats. Iced latte and cold brew were both fantastic, and the strawberry scone and blueberry muffin were great. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again!

Phenomenal coffee and outranking anything nearby. One of the very few places that serve single origin espressos in the area which was dialed in perfectly. Delicious cappuccino. Thank you

Wow, I LOVED their Still Cold Brew! So smooth and absolutely zero aftertaste, which is my ideal iced coffee. Beautiful location right in downtown Princeton, with a view of some of the gorgeous college buildings right outside. The shop is narrow, but has some table, bench, and counter seating, as well as a couple of tables outside.

Wish I saw all the good comments about their espresso drinks before I walked in and ordered cold brew. For $5 per small cup, I got: a barista staring at his phone the entire time; a cashier who was barely interested to talk to a customer. For my Nitro cold brew, the tab made a interesting sound and only poured a chunk of bubbles in the cup. The cashier asked: do you want the still one? I said okay. She didn’t change the cup and poured in regular cold brew. Final product: a cold brew diluted with 1/4 cup of bubble = water tasking coffee.

Despite having had coffee from freshly roasted beans in Colombia, I can't claim to be a an expert when it comes to coffee, but I simply couldn't pass up a visit to this nearly perfectly rated coffee shop on Nassau Street in Princeton. I get what the owners are trying to do with the minimalist look, but it's not my cup of tea for atmosphere as I prefer a homey place with warm and welcoming vibes when I visit a coffee shop...Sacrid Coffee Roasters was not it, but I can see how it can appeal to some in the area.We were going to keep it simple by getting 2 cappuccinos and sampling a pastry. When I inquired about about the tray of pastries they had on the counter, the cashier said they start at $5.50, which is kind of steep, but the real deal breaker was that they mentioned the pastries were for take out only. We wanted to have our drinks there and take in the vibes. The 2 cappuccinos were $4.25 each plus tax, so ran just north of $9 (plus any optional tip you wish to provide). The cappuccino was of decent quality, but quite honestly nothing of discernible improvement in quality over other good coffee shops, so probably not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again. While seated at the end of the coffee bar, we saw some people asking for coffee samples, so figured I'd ask for them as I didn't know that was an option. A friendly employee was kind enough to grab a sample of both their Ethiopian and Colombian blends they had on offer, and also provide a description of them (very classy as it shows their knowledge and pride in explaining their product on offer). I found the Ethiopian blend a bit too bitter and strong, with the Colombian blend more agreeable to my palate. While not as warm and welcoming as other Italian coffee/espresso bars, I'm sure people with more distinguishing coffee tastes would like Sakrid Coffee Roasters, so I recommend giving the place a try for an experience which may be a bit different than other coffee shops in the area.
