Had my 6 year old son's birthday party here. Hostess was nice but not around often, getting prizes took way to long, and took over an hour for our pizza just for 2 of them to be burnt.

High Expectations

Chuck E. Cheese just isn’t what they used to be they took out a lot of things that keeps the kids entertained. They don’t have anything for the kids to play around in and wear themselves out. I mean they most recently added a trampoline in there but that’s still not enough when everything else is just a few video games and a couple of rides for the toddlers other than that there’s really nothing else there. They took the stage out so Chucky and the rest of the gang don’t come out on the stage anymore and by the way, what happened to the rest of the gang anyway?

As far as food is concerned, there’s not too many options, which is to be expected at a place like that, but with such limited options could be a little better. The pizza is still OK not the best but OK the chicken wings come off like they are pre-cooked frozen chicken wings. They just require to be put in the toaster oven for a few… I do love the unlimited drinks.. so thats a plus.

I really don’t know what they need to do to make it better, but it really needs some type of upgrades. I mean it’s a good place to take the kids during the winter when you can’t always take them to the park, but it needs a little more to it for it to be great again as it was when I was a child.

We take our kids here a lot, especially when the weather is bad. It’s fun. They recently did some work and replaced a lot of the games with newer ones. There’s free EV charging parking right by which is available maybe 50% of the time (I shouldn’t even be telling you this). Their pizza is pretty solid. I will say that recently they redid their whole pricing model this summer from a per hour to per play. I think the new model ultimately costs a bit more, but since it’s not a straight up price increase. I will also say that the point of sale devices the staff use must be really finicky because there always seems to be some issue that a manager needs to resolve.

I do my boys bdays here every year, not disappointed at all. Except for the other kids outside our party that join, everything goes as planned. Good management

A good place to burn all the extra energy that kids store in that infinite storage :)
Kids seem to enjoy the trampoline a lot more than the games themselves. Points vs Games - when in a group - take points, when you have a single kid, take minutes. Trampoline Staff seem to single out Asians over locals a lot more than usual to maintain count but that’s just my observation - they were always courteous though.

Daughter loves coming to chuck e cheese decent amount of older toddler friendly attractions.

The pizza is actually good - once you go to xl and stuffed crust the pizza is softer and doughy. So if you want a crispy crust- personal - large plain.

bone in wings are ?, not cheap but definitely gets a beautiful crust and toasted perfectly!

Sadly CEC uses Pepsi products. If you get the souvenir cup, it has free refills for life at every CEC.

Since the games are only 1 token the max payout for the games is 4 tickets , pretty much everywhere.

No more playground, no more animatronics, there is a jumping area - sock purchase is required. I’d recommend at lease 3 years old / or if your toddler is very active like jumping everywhere.

Overall nice place , well kept, amazing staff- mr cheese did come out every hour and was interactive with the kids.

We were there for a birthday party. The place was small, cluttered, understaff, and the worst was that in order to jump on a super small trampoline area, each kid has to pay a whopping $8 for a pair of socks!! Even the legit trampoline places do not charge this ridiculous amount of $! Staff was rude, pizza was good tho, do not recommend hosting any bday parties there if your kids are older than 5.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of hosting a gathering at Chuck E. Cheese at princeton, and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever encountered.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that there was a lack of staff presence. Despite the restaurant being busy, there seemed to be no one available to assist us at our table. We found ourselves running around, trying to get the attention of servers to fulfill our food orders, which was incredibly frustrating.

To make matters worse, the salad platter we ordered arrived only at the end of the party, long after everyone had finished their main courses. It was disheartening to see that our requests were repeatedly overlooked. Additionally, the pizza was served cold, which only added to our disappointment.

When I approached the manager, Jay, hoping for some assistance or accountability, his response was disappointing. He stated that he was not responsible for our service issues since his shift had just started. This lack of ownership and concern for customer satisfaction was shocking.

The cake we ordered was also a major letdown. Not only did it look unappealing, but the taste was equally disappointing. It was not at all what we had expected for such an occasion.

To make matters even worse, we were promised goodie bags for our guests, but none were provided. We also had no plates for our food, and when the ice cream was finally served, there were no spoons available. This was a significant letdown, especially since we were looking forward to giving our guests a memorable experience.

Overall, the absence of support, the poor quality of food, and the failure to deliver on promises contributed to a very negative experience. I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I had high hopes for this venue, but sadly, it did not meet any of my expectations. I cannot recommend Chuck E. Cheese based on this experience.

Love this place. The only thing that was a little silly is... Why stamp our hand if your door guy is never there to let us out?

The food was your standard Chuck E Cheese, however every single machine was set to the lowest possible rewards. Each jackpot was manually set to 8 tickets or less— even the monopoly machine only yielded a maximum of 5 tickets per roll. I may not have been to a lot of Chuck E Cheese’s in my life, but I’m pretty sure openly rigging the machines to the lowest possible value while still keeping with the usually outrageous ticket costs of rewards isn’t just your average arcade scam— it’s outright fraud. Don’t bother coming here in hopes of winning anything better than a tootsie roll.
