The food was good. We traveled out of our way just to get here. My wife was greeted by a man who seemed mad we were there. We ordered some food to go since the outside seating was full. We were warned that if we took food to go we will not be able to sit down. I made sure I had my receipt in hand when I later asked to use their restroom. I did enjoy my doner sandwich but my wife’s salad was all iceberg lettuce and tasteless.

EFES Grill in downtown Princeton is a good Mediterranean eatery with a comprehensive menu with many vegetarian options. The order is placed on a kiosk and is well prepared and presented in a sustainable brown paper bag by the enthusiastic crew. The ample quantity of food was authentically tasty. With seating both inside and outside it is a good choice for a lunch that is reasonably priced.

Food was just delicious as always. Our waitress was curt and unfriendly throughout - perhaps she had a difficult day? What really got our attention was an automatically assigned gratuity of almost 20% for our party of 4, PLUS a suggested additional gratuity on the credit card receipt (which doesn’t show the assigned gratuity). If we hadn’t looked carefully at the original receipt we would have unknowingly given nearly a 40% tip.
