Good food. I recommend the pad thai with a side of brown rice

Also, his place bribes you with an egg roll/thai tea if you leave a nice review. So you can do that if you want. But I would never compromise my integrity like that. As we all know, google reviews are sacred.

They completely revamped the menu. I would consider this one of the best restaurants in town and the portions are huge! BYOB

Not an authentic Korean place. It’s fusion and mostly American (burgers, steak, salmon, pasta).
My party came back for Korean food after what I thought was a “pretty good” first experience with their bulgogi last year, but the menu changed and the Korean flavors were off. After a long wait, the Korean sundubu chigae was way too fatty, spicy and watery, not a stew. The bibimbop was mostly rice and not enough fresh veggies. The tofu looked brown, fried and dried, instead of fresh and tender. For the first time in my life, we saw a severely burnt egg served at a restaurant (on top of the bibimbop). Surprised that the kitchen let that through - What’s happening in the kitchen that they can’t fry a simple fried egg or fry a new one? My mother had to cut around the egg to remove the burnt edges before she could chew it.

The non-Korean dishes were better - the fusion gochujang pasta alfredo with shrimp was cheesy and tasty with just a hint of cayenne pepper(not spicy at all), and the shrimp was not overcooked. The goat cheese squash quinoa (with pomegranate) was surprisingly delicious and the flavors were more balanced. Not sure they’re worth coming back for, with all the restaurant options we have.

The Korean dishes were disappointing for those who seek authentic, classic Korean flavors, or just plain fresh, good food. They seem to be trying to capitalize on the popular Korean wave but it missed the mark.

Also dining is on the second floor. If you have anyone in your party who can’t handle two sets of steps, know that there is no elevator here, and the restrooms are downstairs only, where the tile floor is peeling and between peeling tiles and potted plants all over the floor, the place was full of tripping hazards. Something seemed off. Sad because I really wanted to like this place.

The (soy garlic) fried chicken was incredible. Best chicken I've had in years. The duck spring rolls and braised short ribs were excellent as well, but the chicken blew my mind. BYO was not a problem, and it was a easy walk away from the crowded Palmer Square area. I'm coming back soon.

Extremely long wait, took me 30+ minutes on an avocado bacon sandwich for take out. The customer behind me got her order before me. I was the first customer there and the only thing that required light cooking was the bacon. Yet it took 30 minutes. I can make this at home in 5 minutes.

And it’s not even fresh avocado, it’s just avocado spread with a chunk of bacons, tastes only salty and nothing else.

As you can see from the photo everything was GREAT. (Couldn’t finish the burger cause we over ate, but definitely took that home.) we order the honey soy wings to start they were impeccably crispy and tasted amazing. Our main dishes were the Korean burger with sweet potato fries & the gochujang pasta. Wasn’t sure what to really expect from them but I’m glad I took the risk because it was probably the best meal I had all week haha. Our friend order some type of beef short rib dish on bed of mashed potatoes I believe that I tried and it was very decadent and if that’s your thing then you won’t be disappointed. To finish we ordered some boba teas to go and that was the perfect cherry on top to our meal. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. It was really refreshing to find a restaurant that was so consistent from the waiting staff to the final product. Thanks for giving us a lovely night. (Side note: It’s BYOB)

Food was alright. We had pork belly tacos (fatty and full of gristle), potato croquette apps (very good) 2 steak frittes (good) and tiramisu (covered with an inch of cocoa powder and we all choked inhaling the powder). Our server was very nice but disappeared about 45 mins before we left. Most of that time was spent waiting for the check but nobody checked in on us in her absence. We asked someone else and she said she’ll take care of it but she walked past us 4 more times so we asked again. Doubting we’ll be back

Super aesthetic boba place. It’s really beautiful and I’d study here. The food here is also very good. I would come back to eat here any time and the walk is worth it

Food is always good here. The choices are varied and cater to a variety of dietary needs. The service is good as well and parking is usually not an issue.

Lunch menu excels-- anything with the chicken. Drink options abound. Cold brew + guava juice is an off-menu stunner.

Lovely cafe with great food selection and variety, wonderful service, and delightful decor and ambience. Upstairs rooftop deck area is nice option for great weather days.

Waitress’s have no concept of what service to a diner is. The food, most unacceptable and unappetizing we ever had. Had to ask for napkins, silverware constantly. Asked for fresh cup of coffee, waitress dumped out the original cold cup she served and refilled. Definitely ruined any appetite present.
Owners must train the wait staff as well as monitor the kitchen!

Lovely dining enviroment.

We tried the chicken, which had great flavor but was unfortunately overcooked. The burger had the same issue—tasty, but a bit too dry.

On the bright side, the salad was absolutely perfect. We also ordered a few small plates, all of which were thoughtfully prepared and delicious.

Despite a couple of missteps, the overall experience was enjoyable, and the friendly service and inviting setting made it worth the visit.
