Turned up on a Friday night hoping for some fun filled Friday action. Didn't quite materialize like that but I sat at the bar drinking beers and chatting with staff. Very friendly. Boss should allow them to do shots 😄
Haven't had the opportunity to try their food during the lunch or dinner hours. But I wanted to write a review based on the karaoke nights! The atmosphere is very loud and fun. It is very busy when students are on campus. But it's such a wonderful atmosphere to watch people sing and dance. I always enjoy the karaoke nights with my brother, DJ Trey does a wonderful job those nights! It's a good place to start when you want to try something new! The outdoor patio has transformed this place into a popular public house for Riverside parents, Littlebrook parents, and even some graduate departments at Princeton University. The outdoor seating is very inviting, especially in good weather. The service is friendly, and the prices for drinks, particularly beers that can be as low as $2, are reasonable, making it one of the most affordable bars in Princeton. Cash only is required, but many find it worth it for the experience. With a giant screen for entertainment and a cozy, family-friendly environment, Ivy Inn is an excellent choice for grabbing a drink, even past 10pm, and enjoying a nightcap. The atmosphere is lively, with sports on the TV and great music piped through the place, creating a very appreciative crowd.
