The food was decent, but it took more than 40 mins to go onto my table

Since moving to town, Kristine’s has not only been a frequent visit, but an absolute staple! My boyfriend had taken me here two and a half years ago when we started dating, and we LOVE it!! James and Branden are absolute gems and create the best hospitable environment! The escargot in shell was fantastic, now that have switched to puff pastry version - haven’t tried - wish there was an option for either. The duck leg confit was the most spectacular dish on the menu! Now switched to eggplant so unsure … waiting for them to bring back sarladaise potatoes tho!!! The mussels in the Creamy Kristine’s White Wine Shallot Sauce is absolutely to DIE for!!! I will say tho, kristine’s bread (french baguette) is SUCH a HUUUUUGGGEEEE staple! I went today, and now they have sourdough bread home made. I will say, I do love sourdough, especially for brunch, but at a french bistro like Kristine’s, don’t switch it up!!! Sourdough is delicious, for brunch, not at a French place!!! Please bring the baguette back!! Would even pay for it! It’s tooooooo good!!!! Worth patting sourdough and mussels do not mix :(((( love you guys so much!!!

Excellent food, first class service, super clean and organised restaurant. Thanks to Colin at Nassau Street Food for the recommendation!

Tucked away in the heart of Princeton, Kristine’s sets the perfect scene for an evening out — warm, inviting, and effortlessly elegant. From the lighting to the décor, every detail made us feel at home yet indulged. James goes beyond service — he makes you feel cared for. With attention to detail and a true passion for hospitality, he turns dining into an experience you’ll want to come back for.

Waited about an hour for drinks and some starters kind of ridiculous at this day and age. Especially for the price you can’t tell me that a steak tartare takes about an hour to wait

We had a fantastic dinner — the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for both a casual night out and a special occasion. The highlight for me was their spectacular wine list — a thoughtfully curated selection that pairs perfectly with the menu.

Highly recommend Kristine’s if you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience in Princeton!

Stopped in for lunch after our morning run. Made quick reservation for 2 without any problems. Our server Kim took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed as well as answered any questions we had.

We tried a few items and shared them between 2 of us. All portions were perfect and did not overly fill us up. Delicious and well worth coming back for!

Service fee is forced on take out. At first we think the food is not enough. Then we could'n finish it as it's too salty and oily. Food was burnt too. This is a highly rated restauraunt in Princeton? I really feel sorry for the people here.

The food was excellent from start to finish. The French onion soup was rich and flavorful. For the appetizer and main course, I had the lobster risotto with sausage, which was absolutely delicious. For dessert, I ordered the crème brûlée—perfectly done. I also highly recommend the duck magret and the lemon tart for dessert. The escargots were also very tasty.

There was live music during our visit as they were celebrating Bastille Day, which made the atmosphere even more special.

The only downside was the service—it was a bit slow, and the staff seemed slightly distracted at times. But overall, the dining experience was wonderful and I would definitely come back.

PRINCETON: Exquisite French-inspired cuisine awaits at Kristine's Princeton, where every dish is fresh and thoughtfully prepared for a memorable dining experience. Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome on the charming front patio, which overlooks Hinds Plaza, also home to the Princeton Farmers Market. We stopped in for dessert and drinks and loved the crème brûlée and Brittany butter cake, both perfectly paired with our cocktails. The service was attentive and welcoming throughout.
