I love this place, however, yesterday I bought one of my favorite pastries at the store the Kouign Maman. The pastry was hard, I did not even realized how hard it was until I got to my destination. I got one for me and my sister and I was embarrassed on how hard they were. Not sure if they were overcooked or was old and they overheated to sell. Just be careful when you buy this pastry, make sure is fresh. So disappointed because it is my favorite :(

Maman is one of the best places in Princeton for breakfast, a quick bite, coffee, or meeting up with friends. The restaurant is beautifully decorated—comfortable, warm, and inviting.
Their bakery items, coffee, soups, and sandwiches are all excellent. Every time I pass by, I find myself stopping in to sit for a while with a latte. If you grab a seat by the large windows, you can enjoy a lovely view of the Princeton street scene.
The hours are also very convenient: Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6 pm, and Saturday through Monday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Parking is never a concern—even if you forget to bring quarters. There are several indoor parking garages around Princeton University, and most of them are priced similarly to street parking.

I love this place It has become my favorite cafe in Princeton - good energy , luck, and creativity I now associate with this place
Espresso is surprisingly excellent (not burnt taste proper shots) but it’s truly the ambiance that sets this place apart
I only drink espresso so check the other reviews for … well anything else 😉

Very friendly service and nice location. The pastries are very sweet, but also very delicious.
Salads are okay. Food in general okay.
Drinks are pricy and inconsistent. Would stick to the pastries.

Very delicious and filling! I recommend the vegan chocolate chip cookie and vegan pumpkin spice carrot cake. The avocado toast was large and super delish!

The atmosphere is beautiful, very busy place, but plenty of seating when we went during the week. The drinks we ordered were so good. I liked my sandwich, but my husband wasn’t a fan. It was very expensive, but I would deff come back for the drinks!
