Mamouns has the best falafel and it’s consistent at every location. I happily drive an hour to go to their locations in NJ and used to visit their NYC village location all the time. I saw a documentary where all their falafel filling is made in one place to ensure the consistency and then fried fresh in the store. Along with their hot sauce, it makes for the best falafel around. Wish there was one closer to me as I’d be there every week!
Mamoun's is like a beacon in the dark. Whenever I am not sure what to do with myself (or for lunch), I can always count on Mamoun to not let me down. The food is always amazing and the ability to customize for dietary needs is noteworthy! If you get a chance, go to Mamouns!
We, a family of four, go there about once per year. And we are never disappointed. We find plenty of options including vegetarian options. The price is very reasonable, especially considering the price in the other restaurants nearby. The food takes little time to prepare and is always tasty. Parking is a bit of a problem though, especially in the weekend.
