Meh.
Ordered some rolls came out with a bonus (hair).
Pork buns were like a dessert, too sweet for me and the buns were sticking to my teeth. Maybe some people like it that way, but it was not for me.
But the soups were good tho, my brother liked it.
Staff was quite good, Some of the best sushi I've had in my life. Most of the entrees are quite large and made with very good quality ingredients. Prices are quite good for the food your getting. Probably the best dinning experience I've had this year.
Roots in Princeton has decent food, but the overall experience is fairly average. The service was okay-ish—nothing bad, but not very attentive either. The restaurant itself is quite simple with no extra vibes or ambience. We tried the ramen bowls and Pad Thai, and while they were fine, the flavors felt more blended and muted rather than distinct or bold. It’s an okay spot for a casual meal, but nothing really stood out.
