Chamomile version of London fog with vanilla . It’s doesn’t get any better! My experience is usually that drinks OR snacks are good when I visit a cafe. The zucchini bread is delicious and the basque biscuits are a PERFECT pairing for tea or coffee. I’ve ordered enough times to also be able to say the quality is consistent which is equally important. Definitely a new regular spot for us!

Unfortunately, this café isn’t very baby-friendly. There’s no stroller access, as stairs block the entrance. A sign suggests asking an employee for help, but it’s unrealistic to leave a baby outside while doing so. The cashier seemed impatient while I was ordering, and the tables are packed so tightly that a stroller can’t fit between them. There’s additional seating upstairs, but again, it requires climbing stairs. To top it off, my coffee and croissant were served cold.

Small World Coffee is definitely a Princeton staple, if you’re in town, you have to stop by!
My daughter and I are regulars here, and for good reason! We love our Saturday early-morning breakfasts — there’s always a great selection of sweet options, plus a few savory ones. The coffee, tea, and especially the matcha are exceptional. Honestly, the matcha here is unparalleled. We’ve tried all the hyped-up spots in NYC, and none of them even come close to Small World. It’s cozy, local, and full of that authentic Princeton charm.

I get matcha regularly and just noticed that price increased to $8 from $6.50 and the one size becomes smaller - almost matcha shot now. Plus the small cup was full only %75. What is going on here?

While this used to be my go-to place to grab coffee and meet friends in Princeton, I now associate Small World with such an unpleasant experience. I got shouted at loudly and rudely by a barista for picking up a cup of coffee, after asking what kind of milk was in it and concluding wrongly it was mine. I immediately said sorry and put the cup down, but I did not deserve to be shouted at in public. I was stunned I didn’t even say anything and left, when I should have stood up for myself.

Unfortunately, perhaps busy and popular coffee shops eventually will think it’s okay to treat their patrons this way, and they forget the basic respect that comes with each transaction no matter what. Another patron even said to me “what’s his problem? what was that sass about?”.

I will be supporting other coffee shops in town, and I hope the barista at Small World knows that their tone and words can affect other people.

I went on a Sunday and it was packed. I understand it’s crazy however you still wanna care about the product that you’re serving people correct?

The espresso was really burnt probably because they served over 2000 Preso is that morning?

I heard the house blend is a really good one so next time I’ll probably go on a weekday and in the morning

Probably a five star cup of coffee, any other day but on the weekend if your management and your reading this and you care, please make an effort to clean the machine at least once

It may be crazy because there’s a, but that should be more reason to implement it

Happy to give five stars the next time I come around

Amazing spot with a great vibe and super friendly service. One of the best coffees I’ve had, and the pastries are to die for. I’ll definitely be back!

I'm so glad I stopped by. This coffee shop knows what it's doing! I ordered the mocha, and it was a masterpiece—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. It's clear they use high-quality, fresh beans. You can def taste the difference. Had me up for HOURS

My friend and I was greeted by Beatrice at the counter and she was very attentive and welcoming as it was our first time, she offered us samples, and helped us decide on what was best! Honestly the best customer service ever! The in-home made pumpkin cream is sooooooooo good! Good anything!
