SWC has become a Princeton institution over the *decades* since its opening -- and lost *nothing* of the quality and charm that has made it so! In fact, it's better than ever! A gem.
The pastries and drinks were delicious. Loved the spiced chai latte. Appreciated the self-service bar so that you can add milk and sugar and such to taste. Internet was convenient. Seating as less-than-comfortable. But, overall, this is a good little coffee shop.
A Princeton standard, to be sure. Popular with students & locals; nearly always a line out the door. Don’t be afraid though—the line moves fast.
Roasts are a bit on the darker side, but still excellent. If you can, try the “coffee of the day”, a rotating selection of their various blends.
