“Excellent service with great tasting food. One of the best pad thai places we've eaten in a while. The braised beef noodle soup is also very good. The beef was so tender and you get the option of flat noodles or regular noodles. I opted for the flat noodles which went very well with the beef.We also ordered the lychee iced thai tea as well the regular thai tea. We didn't get to try the lychee thai tea as soon after it was brought out, they took it back saying the lychee wasn't good. They brought out a regular thai tea instead.Plenty of seating for small or large group. They also have outdoor seating.Overall, very happy with the food and service.“

“I love this local restaurant! The portion sizes are quite big, which is good and me and my family liked all of the meat dishes. My favorite dishes have been the Pad Thai, mango fried chicken, string beans, and red curry. The owner Janice is really kind, we’ll definitely be back!“

“My wife and I went to this restaurant to be spontaneous and try Thai food for the first time together. 2 years later it’s one of our favorite restaurants of all time. We really love the fried pineapple rice and Thai tea. We usually get both still and get something new with each visit. Last night we got to try the Thai chill red snapper it was amazing. Keep doing what your doing it’s amazing. 10/10“

“BEST SUSHI AROUND!!!!!!! I’ve tried sushi up to 20 minutes from Plainsboro and I was disappointed every time. I found out that Hiro opened from a Clippers magazine and I literally couldn’t be more excited that it opened 2 minutes away from my apartment. Super clean, great music, nice decorations! Will definitely be returning. Best of all, no more complaining about how the sushi in the Princeton area is horrible!!! :) love love love!“

“In the woven fabric of College Town, Ewing, New Jersey, lies an unassuming thread that binds more than just the community — Yummy Sushi, a humble yet profound sanctuary where the elegance of balance is not just practiced but perfectly embodied. This balance, a theme often explored in the nuanced narratives of Amy Tan, is palpable in every bite, every smile, every greeting that awaits you here.
At Yummy Sushi, balance is not merely a culinary principle but a cornerstone of existence, much like the delicate equilibrium between duty and desire, tradition and self-discovery that defines our own narratives. Each roll served is a testament to this ethos, with rice and filling in harmonious proportions, ensuring every flavor note is sensed, savored, and remembered. This meticulous balance is akin to the careful structuring of a story, where every element, no matter how seemingly insignificant, plays a crucial role in the narrative’s depth and resonance.
The shrimp bento box, a microcosm of the world in a tray, encapsulates diversity and completeness. With an array that engages all the senses, it reflects life's multifaceted nature — its surprises, its richness, its layers. Each segment of the box, much like chapters in a novel, reveals its own character and story, contributing to a larger, satisfying whole. This offering is a reminder of the varied chapters of our lives, each flavored with its unique set of experiences, yet part of a cohesive journey.
What truly transforms Yummy Sushi into more than a place of dining is its atmosphere — an embodiment of warmth and familial embrace that Tan often illustrates as the foundation of identity and belonging. Here, the essence of family extends beyond biological ties to encompass all who step through its doors. With every visit, a sense of homecoming pervades, nurtured by the genuine welcome and remembered preferences, echoing the return to one's roots, to one's essence, that is a recurrent theme in Tan’s explorations.
Yummy Sushi invites a return, not just through its culinary offerings but through the sense of belonging it fosters. Whether it's your daily haven, your weekly treat, or your monthly ritual, you are always welcomed back like a story returning to its theme, a melody to its refrain.
In a narrative as rich and layered as any penned by Amy Tan, Yummy Sushi stands as a reminder of the essential joys of life — good food, community, and the unbreakable bonds of an extended family. It’s where every meal is a confluence of stories, every patron a character, and every visit a chapter in the ongoing tale of Yummy Sushi, a place that, amidst the hustle of College Town, holds space for moments of simple, profound connection.“

“I've traveled to Thailand, and I must say, this restaurant rivals some of the best I've been to there. The Pad Thai was spot on, and the Tom Yum soup was a comforting hug in a bowl.“
