On Feb 13, I had a highly disappointing experience at Jersey Fried Chicken. I placed an order through the Uber Eats app and went to the restaurant to collect it myself. However, the staff refused to hand over my order, insisting on a code that the app did not provide at the time. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue, I left the restaurant without my food.
To make matters worse, they marked the order as completed, even though I never received it. This caused significant complications when I tried to get a refund for an order I made every reasonable effort to collect.
The service was unprofessional and frustrating, and the food itself isn’t worth the hassle. One of the two older men working there was particularly disrespectful, speaking to me in a rude and dismissive manner as if I were the problem, rather than his ineptitude. If it were possible, I would give this place negative stars. I strongly advise against doing business with this establishment if this is how they treat their customers. I will not be doing business with Jersey Fried Chicken again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from them, especially through Uber Eats.
If you choose to order from this restaurant, be prepared for potential complications, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. There are far better options available that value their customers and provide a smoother experience. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place altogether.

I thought 12 bucks for A 3 piece fries drink no biscuit was a little pricey. They did give me a lot of fried and the chicken tasted good id have to say wish was a lil cheaper like in Newark lol. Well what can you do x

Please call them directly with any possible issues. And they will do everything to help fix the problem. It’s a family owned business so every review counts.
I live nearby and this is the most reliable, affordable place, and they have healthy options if you’re on a diet. One of my favorites since I moved to Vauxhall besides Joes. This place is a landmark.

My son's favourite fried chicken in Maplewood! Their chicken is always fresh and crispy and they're generous with their portions of fries, even if you order as a side. Recommend takeout, though there are a few stools at the window for eat-in.

I ordered a 2 piece chicken with fries, a side of mashed potatoes and a bean pie. When I got home to eat, the bean pie was not there, the potatoes were old and dried up, the chicken hard n dry, the fries were cold. Never order from this

I ordered a regular Philly cheese stick and this is what I got .??the saddest part is I waited all day to get it because it’s what I actually wanted to eat . The person who made the sandwich was super disrespectful because the sandwich is very sloppy with a lot of ketchup on it , I definitely can’t eat that and thanks a lot JERSEY FRIED CHICKEN.

Well I would give it a zero rating if I can but here’s why.Before you read please look at the pics below and tell me if this is a Philly Cheesesteak. I didn’t think so either . It Frustrates me that i waste my money on buying food and end up being dissatisfied with something I didn’t order .To start off I ordered a Philly cheesesteaks hero from this place and got a hero with bread peppers and cheese and a lot of ketchup on with no steak on it , even the birds wouldn’t eat that if I gave it to them .I feel disrespected and I didn’t manage to get my money back either .I warn everybody before you get food from this place check your food because they will violate you like they did me and leave you disappointed and hungry .Now that I have to find something else to eat I will think twice about getting something else from here even if it was my last option for food .BE careful if you get food from here the service is bad ,tacky , and not professional doing business with others …I just had a bad experience be careful before you make the decision to get food from here your own .Check it out for yourself I wouldn’t want you to end up like me .
