Great place, chill vibe, friendly staff and excellent coffee! They make some good lattes here, so far I'm addicted to the coffee butter latte. I've also tried their strawberry cheese cake milkshake and it was delicious!

For a cafe shop in the heart of a gentrification neighborhood, it leaves lots on the table. The coffee was mid, nothing to rave about or special quality to leave a memory. The service was good, attentive and friendly staff. But where it lost me was the venue itself — lack of cleanliness and old dirty furniture all around. A nice decor touch up and this spot would popping (imo).

I’m an out-of-towner and always struggle to find local coffee shops that have great coffee and service. In fact, I try to stay at hotels where there’s a local coffee shop near by. On this trip, I hit the jackpot!
Melao’s coffee and service was top-notch! The coffee was the perfect temperature! Taste great! I also enjoyed their blueberry and carrot cake loaves!
The space is small and quaint, but perfect to chill and enjoy your coffee...
