Been here a few times now and just realized I never gave them the props they deserve. Know what I love about this place? They have REAL bartenders behind the stick. Anyone can be a bartender anywhere. Anyone can pour a glass of wine or beer or slap together a gin and tonic, but Bar Boutique has master class bartenders. The cocktails here are amazing. Great menu and great people here. Highly recommend.

My friends & I visited Bar Boutique tonight. We had a very enjoyable evening. Our food was delicious & hit the spot. Our cocktails, especially my Espresso Martini, were perfection! Our bartender Alex can not only make a delicious & satisfying drink but was also a great listener. The wine pour machine was impeccable + loads of fun z!! We're coming back??

Stopped by Bar Boutique for the first time tonight before having dinner next door. What a cool place! The atmosphere mirrors a chic NYC bar right here in little Ramsey, NJ. Their cocktail list looked great. I just had the smoked old fashioned, which had both great presentation and great taste. The bartender Pete was phenomenal, a warm and friendly host to us, treated us like guests in his own house. And man that guy can make drinks! We didn’t try any food since we were going for dinner, but the food on the menu looked real good too. We’ll definitely be back!

I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon for happy hour. The drinks were excellent and the bartender was great. Sometimes in a slow period the staff at a bar gets bored and focused on their phones, but here I never had to wait more than a few seconds for anything. If I'm in Ramsey again I would definitely come here.

Drove by this place 250 times and never thought I’d end up there as I don’t often drink and clearly drinks are the main attraction here. I was looking for some high end dining late on a Friday and most restaurants nearby are closed. This popped on google and I decided to give it a chance as I’ve recognized it is a high end establishment which is my preference and I saw the small food menu section on a photo of a review. When I arrived I was shown the menu and noticed the items I saw were no longer available and was told the menu was recently changed. Asked for recommendations and ordered the shrimp and lobster cigars and potstickers. Potstickers were unavailable so ordered chorizo/cheese quesadillas. $23 and $20 respectively. I was equally blown away by how good they were as I was at how small the portions were. It was a baby sized quesadilla, and if it wasn’t amazing (I have high standards) I would have been disappointed. The cigars were a bit larger of a dish yet still underwhelming in size. I wasn’t much hungry when I went in just looking for a snack and easily could have eaten more. The establishment is very nice inside and the service is very good. The only thing I can complain about aside from the small portion size of the unbelievably delicious appetizers is the fact they charge a credit card service fee. We get it, bagel stores do it. We get it other places do it. When you are charging TOP DOLLAR (ex. $20 for a 2oz. (not joking) chorizo quesadilla) and drinks are $19… you are not supposed to be nickel and diming your customers. 3% cc service fee.. the establishment is supposed to eat that. It’s an expense. To charge TOP dollar then ADD the service fee is CRAZY. Would definitely go back but this would be a no question 5 star establishment if they upped the size of their apps by 25% and got rid of their service fee. Restaurants survive on repeat business especially in a small town like Ramsey.

8/25/25 a group of 6 girls came for a birthday celebration. The Bartender was far from eager to serve us. It was slow, dispassionate and we seemed like a burden. There were no offerings for an non-carbonated alcohol free drink. My 2 friends that don’t drink had to drink water. The Bartender offered no alternative when my friend requested an Ice tea.
Our initial round of drinks was somewhat tasteless. Not sure if it was mixed incorrectly or it was the choice I made. It was two drinks from the summer menu- blueberry and last one on the menu.
The Happy Hour Food. I didn’t realize they just give you 1/2 the food for half the price. Sounds like a gimmick.
Overall the atmosphere is beautiful, the drinks were ok The food was delicious but, overpriced which is understandable.
We ended the night with espresso martinis. because of the size of our group some got watered down- when we asked for a correction, the bartender added more watery espresso in lieu of Kahula.
We had a nice time after the Bartender warmed up but, it was surprisingly busy for a Monday night.
We wish the owners well. In Ramsey it should do well.
