The people that work here are pretty friendly especially the ones that work the night shifts.
Only down side is that the prices are pretty comical if you are used to regular food prices. The owner has jacked up the price of fat sandwiches by almost $5 in within the past 2 years. I shouldn’t be paying $20 for a simple foot long sandwich that has a few fried foods in it.
Maybe have a student special meal as most of the business is from the High-school down the street.

Been coming for months. Eric D. couldn’t care less about any issues brought up and are charging for hot sauce and ketchup. I will be telling everyone I know that comes here to stay away
Edit: now the receipt I have doesn’t match and it’s more than the credit card fee which issue more than the 2.4% credit card fee. This is an abomination of a chain compared to Montclair!!

I have been going to Cars in Ramsey since they opened in this location, that is to say, nearly a decade, I have to admit for any place to survive that long in that location is impressive. What is not impressive is the rapid decline in service and food quality over the years, they've replaced many of the great menu items, which are sadly no longer available. I also suspect that the change in the shape of the mac and cheese bites comes from switching to a premade bite supplier, likely restaurant depot, while retaining the high cost of these newer, lackluster bites. Place used to be pretty great, it's now a shell of what it was. I used to go for the nostalgia of it, I remember any given night, the place would be jumping and lively, packed to the gills with people, you'd be lucky to get a spot on the chairs near the window. now, it seems rare to encounter more than five other people at a time. none of the staff there seems to want to take your order, just use the tablets instead, the tablets have half the menu, and are convoluted to use, when I was there last the second tablet was set up as a time clock station. I waited for three minutes at the counter, only to be sent to a tablet, and then to wait a solid ten minutes for two customers ahead of me to figure out how to use the one working tablet in the place, I gave up, and left hungry, this place fell off, food isn't even that decent anymore, not worth it anymore. bad prices, bad food, bad environment. Don't waste your time here

A great place to go for a very late night bite to eat as the place is open until just after midnight. The burgers are juicy and you can customize them. There are many options for fries which include normal fries, curly fries, and waffle fries. You can also add their special seasoning. Most important of all, they have their specialty fat burgers, which come in many options to choose from and is basically any fast food you can think of in a bun.

Firstbtime here and have to say the bacon mac n cheeseburger was pretty dam good, better than shake schack, 5 guys etc.
I've been going to Cars since it opened in 2008. The quality has been consistently high throughout the years. It quickly became my late night comfort food and munchies destination. Flash forward to now, and after two years of not having had a moment to go... I can safely say that Cars has withstood the test of time.

The regular fries and waffle fries both were very salty. I had the order to go and when I reached home, my burger was missing, they never placed it. I live 25 minutes away so was not going to go back. I am still waiting for a refund. Can’t give the review on the burger because I never got it but for whatever I got, it was nothing spectacular. Verify all your order before leaving the place. I hope I get my refund soon.
