Well I just have to tell anyone who will listen Giovanna`s cafe is gem of a find for a lunch spot great food and atmosphere you will not be disappointed, do yourself a favor and try it.

What a great spot! Right off the train tracks, our family made a morning of it and took the train a few stops for breakfast. Food was great, service friendly and welcoming. Pancakes and such are served with real maple syrup by default which I appreciate. I don’t know why more places don’t do that. 4 of us ate breakfast for $50. Can’t tell you the last time we found value like that in Bergen County. It fills up quick so get there early on the weekend if you hope to get a table.

Had a very good time at Giovanna’s this morning with my man. The food was great and our waitress Jodi was very kind and quick! She’s hands down the best worker at the cafe (aside from the chefs) and made the atmosphere very welcoming and accommodating. I hope her bosses can share the gratitude and acknowledge how much of a great worker she is. Thank you Jodi!

They were super busy and trying their best to accommodate everyone. Unfortunately, that's not possible when there are only so many tables. My mom and I had window seats cause we didn't care about our seating. Food was 10/10 some of the best breakfast I've had. The French toast was perfect and the mixer berry butter they make themselves it's great. Unfortunately I was on vacation nearby so I can't come here more often. Place is very cute, but if you're more than two people you'd be wise to call ahead to figure out wait times.

This cafe has gone down hill. The service is horrible. The staff is angry and they seem overworked. Our food arrived cold so we sent it back. They took another 20 minutes to bring out new food but forgot some of our order. They never came back to offer coffee. So sad because we have been here several times and it was never this bad. With so many good places to eat in Bergen County, this was our last time at Giovanna’s.

As someone with food allergies I was thrilled to discover Giovanna’s. They have so many gluten free options and are very accommodating. It’s very rare I am able to choose more than one or two things from a menu but here you can get sandwiches with gluten free bread, omelette with gluten free bread (or scones or banana bread), soups, waffles, pancakes! I settled on an egg white omelette with potatoes on the side and banana bread. The bread stole the show - it was soft, delicious and not overly sweet. I can’t wait to go back and I highly recommend this place.
This place does not disappoint ever. The mighty beast is the way to go. 10/10

The food is simply mind blowing. It's every bit of what you might read or heard about this place. Crazy taste, finger licking, lip smacking. The staff are also courteous, especially the main chef. The flipside is the owner. She is really quite upsetting or at least she was on the lazy Saturday early afternoon when we visited. We could understand that the place saw a lot of customers walk in. Whilst the staff and the chef were managing it well, it was evident that the owner was flipping. She even yelled at her staff in front of us. You should however visit for the food. It's splendid.

Yum! What an outstanding little place in Ramsey! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast outside - each of us got an omelette with a biscuit (it was a bit of an up charge for the biscuit but 1000% worth it)! My only negative (which is not really the restaurant’s fault) was the spotted lantern flies flying around outside and inside the AC was not working properly throughout the restaurant. Definitely check this place out if you’re in Ramsey, you won’t regret it!

Cute little place to pop in and have a bite; it has a café-diner vibe. Staff is friendly and attentive. Although, I'm just realizing now that I wasn't asked if I wanted a refill on my coffee (which was very good btw), but whatever, I lived! The have plenty of gluten free options. I had a huge stack of gf pancakes with roasted peaches topped with mascarpone and some Canadian bacon. Friend had a custom omelette; she didn't share (lol, love you!) so I don't know how it tasted, but it looked great. Lastly, there was a huge, gorgeous coconut cake in the baked goods case with your name on it :)
