If you’re craving authentic Italianthat tastes like Nonna’s been cooking all day, **Favale’s Trattoria** is your spot! This cozy little gem in Ramsey is a local favorite and now I know why! We started with their coal-fired Margherita pizza (yes, that’s the proper spelling!), thin, crispy, with fresh mozzarella, fragrant basil, and a homemade tomato sauce so rich and flavorful, you'd think someone’s Italian grandma was stirring it for hours. 🍕
Then I tried what I later found out is called Chicken Scarpariello, tender chicken breast dipped in egg, served with garlicky broccoli rabe and savory Italian sausage. 👌 Comes with a house salad and your choice of pasta, I went for the linguini and don’t regret a single bite!
It's **BYOB**, family-friendly, and you can even watch your pizza being made right in front of your eyes. The space is small and intimate, so I’d recommend calling ahead on the weekends, but they were super accommodating when we walked in without a reservation. They made us feel like part of the family.
Favale’s is that kind of place where you come once and immediately start planning your next visit. Seriously, Ramsey’s got a hidden treasure here. GO!

Got a large plain and a large pepperoni both Amazing flavored to perfection I live in Ramsey and have been told many times to try there pizza why did I wait so long this will now be my family's goto pizza shop and let's not even mention the Mozzarella Sticks thy are a must.

Favales is the perfect family restaurant. We have been here several times and have enjoyed everything we have had . My son and I can’t get enough of their mussels . The pizza is delicious.

First time visiting. We were a group of 9. We came for some brick oven pizza. We were not disappointed. We ordered the white sauce pizza, margherita, pepperoni and cheese. Loved all of them. Thin crust and flavorful. They came with chicken wings which were also good. They serve water when seated. Definitely will come back.

I really wanted to like this place because the owner/servers worked hard and were very attentive as far as service is concerned. The food wasn't very good though and I was disappointed in their big specialty, which is the huge calzone. It was different than a traditional calzone and I didn't like it better, plus it was mostly bread for about $20. Aside from that, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, even though several fans were running. It was hard to sit for the whole dinner and we couldn't wait to get some air. They do have a cute way of packaging to go items though.

Pricey but the wings and pizza are quite tasty. The wings were very meaty unlike what you'll sometimes find where there's barely any meat on the bone these were really good. Seasoning was tasty too with some kind of garlic/Parm with fresh lemons and the charcoal oven flavor. Wish they did slices but that's not really the vibe of this place, it's more of a sit down or take out sort of place.

Everything was still fresh when it got here, so it wasn't the delivery, but the penne was salty and dry, not nearly enough sauce, the super expensive plain Caesar salad, which I had to add alot more money for chicken, was like any other.. mozz sticks good but not for price
This place is so cute! The staff were very friendly, the food was VERY good, and they easily made accommodations for my dad, who has celiac. The lunch special was the perfect amount of food at a (frankly amazing) price. I wish I lived here so I could come back more often! Can't recommend coming here enough!!!

The food was phenomenal, and the staff were friendly enough. The only issue was the air conditioning. It was too hot and my party was sweating. Again, food and all others were excellent!!
Quite frankly, we’re amazed this place is still in business. Food used to be decent, for take out standards. Now it is mostly inedible. The pizza is typically a floppy, thin, bland mess and is almost always cold by the time you get home. Tomato sauce has no seasoning, no flavor and it’s the same sauce they put on everything. Chicken parm is made with frozen cutlets, which comes with pasta that is amazingly overcooked. Meatballs, oh wow, not sure even where to start here…like eating a dried ball of sawdust. Probably one of the worst we’ve ever had and embarrassed us in front of company. Will not be returning anymore.
I can’t say anything bad about this place.
