Sarku Japan Teriyaki & Sushi Express

Ordered from here. Chicken and shrimp terryaki with the veggies was awesome. So fresh and flavorful and you get it for a great price. Dumplings are good too. My go to place for a great meal on the cheaper side.

This place is an actual scam. They offer discounts and deals on there website but when trying to actually use them they will tell you no and its not at this location even when showing them the deal to there faces saying its for all locations. The chicken portion was extremely small and the rice tasted stale. If im ever going to give this chain a chance I know for a fact It wont be at this location.

Quick and convenient food on Rt17. A big parking lot for the plaza. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Many tables and seats inside.

They have standard menu like other locations, teriyaki chicken, shrimp, rolls etc. Good flavor, tender, juicy for the chicken. Spring rolls are great. It’s a fulfilling meal for me.

The staff are very nice. Food comes out quick. Good spot for lunch and dinner.

Very bad customer service. I placed an order online for beef teryaki with extra chicken through door dash and I received the order with beef only. When I called the restaurant all they offered was an apology. When I asked for a refund on my extra chicken order or a replacement order they hung up on me.

Superb Teriyaki 🥇🥇

My buddy drove me here in his Bentley. I had my doubts when he chose this spot for lunch. But I’m happy to be proven wrong. We had a highly enjoyable meal. 🙏🏻

After trying many Teriyaki take out brands, SARKU JAPAN really stands out from the rest.

I must emphasize the freshness & quality. It’s just done ✅ right!

Okay I'll share. First of all I'm not from around where this restaurant is. When I get sushi by me it's usually hand rolled fancy Japanese sushi made fresh to order with lots of other options and different fish. I thought this was just a limited Sushi menu in a Japanese restaurant and I didn't know it was a fast food place per se. The grab and go Sushi by the register was a little off-putting but I still had decent expectations. When I got back to my room it looked like they made the Rolls backwards. The Dragon Roll had no Crunchies in it but the spicy tuna roll did. The spicy tuna roll wasn't spicy but the Dragon Roll was. The Dragon Roll was moderately cold the spicy tuna roll was warm. Just not a good experience for my first time I guess. I ordered pick up and my ticket said delivery and when I asked for my order with my name the cashier was going to give me a completely different huge order instead of my little tiny order there was only two on the counter. I probably won't ever come back because I live 2 hours away and I was there for training but it just wasn't what I expected and it didn't hit my craving. Don't get me wrong. I ate it but I was a little worried about the warm roll.

The food comes out so fast you don’t even have enough time to check the portions they are very stingy with food fir the price I think you get more food at the mall for that price it should be more food very disappointed

I used to enjoy this place, but a recent order is going to send me to other places. My order was chicken with shrimp over rice, but was given only shrimp... This wouldn't to much of an issue accept the portion was poor to say the least. I understand inflation, but you can't charge the same price for 10 small shrimp. Will be taking my buisness elsewhere
