Place could use a good cleaning; most food is fried, bland or covered in some cheap sauce or gravy. I would never eat here again.

I found this on my bike trip from Manhattan to Harriman State Park and it made my day! Great, friendly all-vegan spot with tons of choices😄

They have a really wide range of options and they're all vegan so it's easy to find something you'd like. I've gotten a couple different things and they gave yet to disappoint. I haven't tried their breakfast yet but I definitely hope to soon. The service is also lovely and welcoming.

Great spot for breakfast items!

-eggplant parmagiana - 9/10 great -eggplant poboy - 9.5/10 excellent -potato skins - 9/10 great -raspberry cream cheese filled French toast- pretty good The donuts were of the cake style, the classic was very good, but the mint chocolate chip was so dry and not at all good. All vegan place though, would definitely return to try more! Updated from previous review on 2024-12-19

Great selection of delicious vegan food! Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner items including the Egyptian red lentil soup, diner style sandwiches, pastas, healthy salads, all kinds of fun specials. Oh, and a wide variety of awesome desserts too. Super friendly and helpful staff.

No complaints, this place is exactly like advertised. I had an eggplant po-boy, was fantastic, I couldn’t eat it fast enough. Service was excellent, place was clean, brought two meals home. This is meatless done right. Thanks for a great meal, we will be back. Stuffed and happy 😆

Stopped by Simply Green Cafe and I can't say enough good things about my experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy meal.

One standout dish was the French toast. It was absolutely divine—perfectly fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness, It’s hands down the best French toast I’ve ever had, vegan or not!

Everything else we tried was equally delicious.

I left feeling satisfied and eager to return. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu! Highly recommend this gem to anyone, whether you’re vegan or just looking for a fantastic meal.

I had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was delicious! The server was very attentive and polite.

If you like spicy, I would recommend the buffalo wrap and it was available in gluten free wrap. The sweet potato fries were delicious and cooked to perfection.

God willing I will be dining there again soon.

First time visiting, very large menu selection, was hard to choose. We had dinner, got the buffalo chicken pizza, the kale salad with crispy tofu added, the mozzarella sticks, the onion rings, the buffalo chicken wrap, and the meatball hero sandwich. All was very tasty and good portion sizes! We were absolutely stuffed but in hindsight ordered way too much food lol. Had two non-vegans with us and they really liked it. I regret not trying the eggplant parmesan or eggplant po'boy, it was recommended by the server. Hopefully next time! The only reason we didn't give a full five stars was because we had tried a lot of other vegan restaurants in New York City and they were superb and outstanding, so in comparison this place was very good, but we were blown away by other places more. Also, request no straws with your drink.
