The Little Kitchen is a local restaurant with all homemade, scratch-made fresh dishes. The food is beyond amazing, delicious, and a pleasant surprise. The kitchen is big and clean. Many are fans of the homemade comfort food, which is never processed, too salty, or dated. Favorites include the “Sweet Bird” roasted turkey sandwich, tender pork loin with cornbread, meatballs and marinara sauce, chicken cutlets, and mac and cheese. The soups are particularly beloved, like the veggie soups, Italian meatball wedding soup, nacho soups, and chicken potpie soups. For Hanukkah, the potato latkes with sour cream and homemade apple sauce are unforgettable. The owner and chef is super friendly, down to earth, welcoming, and genuinely cares about the food. It is easy to work with her for catering, which receives raves. The restaurant has good mall parking, making pickup easy. Menu items are featured daily on Facebook.
