I needed to find somewhere to work for a few hours and The Mindful Cafe was perfect! Plenty of comfortable seating indoors and out, delicious snack and beverage options and friendly service that didn’t make me feel I had to leave. That in turn left me buying more and staying longer :) Their Asian chicken salad was delicious and I loved the apothecary section in the back! So happy I stopped in and hope to return again soon!

Let me begin by saying the coffee was delicious, the pastries are awesome, and I look forward to trying some of the other delectable items on the menu.

I am not a person who writes reviews often and I find it hard to voice my opinion when trying to give constructive criticism because in this day and age few if ever receive it well.

But I drove 1/2 hour out of my way to come here. I make it a point not to go to Starbucks or DD when I have time and space to enjoy a real cafe, and the name “Mindful” drew me in. Unfortunately my experience was quite the opposite.

My barista was super kind, friendly and expedient - but two minutes after I sat down, one of her friends came in and began a conversation complaining about, well, everything. This was not a short conversation held just by the counter. Her friend sat all the way across the room and continued this very negative conversation at volume from about 20 feet away. I was hoping to get a few items on my to-do list done, but frankly, I don’t think even the Dalai Lama could have concentrated in this space at this time— even with headphones on I am finding it difficult to block the loud negativity behind me out. So instead I’m writing this in the hopes that some awareness might be spread.

If you want to be as skinny as a tooth stick, come to this cafe. First of all, both the chicken Caesar salad and the Asian salad were absolutely bad. No flavor at all. We got the immunity drink, and it was very much undrinkable. The Mindful Cafe took my mind out of the cafe and back to my car.

I recently visited this cafe and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I ordered the chicken salad, and my friend got the Caesar salad with chicken. Both dishes were lacking, and the Caesar salad came with hardly any sauce. When we asked for more, we were told we'd have to pay extra, which was frustrating.
The drinks were another issue. We got two drinks initially, and then tried an artfully crafted drink later. It was clear they were still practicing their craft the drink was so bad, we both felt sick afterward. We ended up having to get something to settle our stomachs. Overall, the food and drinks were subpar, and the experience was not enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend this cafe. #notverymindful

Super nice and spacious spot. They have lots of open seating to work from. They also offer private rooms to book for an hour ($15). The perfect spot for me to stop by in the middle of two back to back events and take online meetings. Also, there’s free street parking (a perk coming from a girl living near the city)

I moved to Ramsey two years ago and Mindful is my favorite place to go. Not only are you going to get delicious and healthy food. Truly healthy due to the clean ingredients they use but you will always get a smile and a thank you from the friendly staff. We all need to support our local businesses and this one is a gem!!!

The place is very clean and work friendly setup. However, I think for a "literal" black beas rice and wrap which they called "mindful" wrap/burrito was supposed to be a veggie burrito for almost $14 def not worth it . Absolutely no veggies at all you can get :add on" protein, salsa or sour cream ... overpriced and not tasty won't do it for me. But 10/10 for appearance and staff.

Great for a light lunch or breakfast. Ordered the breakfast avocado toast with the “fakin bacon mushroom”, Chicken Asian salad, pumpkin break and iced cafe mocha. Avocado toast was perfect however chicken salad lacked some flavor, we added a side of avocado and more dressing which definitely helped. The atmosphere is warm and calming and makes for a nice eating experience. The prices are a bit much but it’s expected with the area and use of organic and clean ingredients. Would recommend!

I visited this place on a weekday afternoon based on a friend's recommendation. I wanted to try the matcha, but since they only offer it with milk, I went with an iced green tea and avocado toast instead. The flavors were good, but I was a bit disappointed to receive my food on disposable plates. It wasn’t great for the environment, and it made cutting the food a bit tricky.

It also took about 30 minutes to get my order, which was longer than I expected, so keep that in mind when you order. Overall, it was a nice experience, but there are a few things they could improve!
