I always find myself saying my last meal was the best one here lol. Well, it happened again. We had the calamari and fried cheeses for apps. The major hits were the swordfish kabobs and the scallops. The kabob dish was easily big enough for two and done to perfection. Amazing! Great service. Nice vibe. All good again

The food is consistently delicious, service is great. The noise level is way too loud to enjoy a conversation without yelling, which does take away from the overall experience.

Good food, service fairly good...after one relatively small cup of coffeee served, did not ask if wanted a second cup, cleaned up table as if, "okay, time to go"...good crusty bread, entrees were fine, i.e scampi, tuna...baklava not up to par from what expected in a Greek- based restaurant...prices probably 25% to 50% higher than what should have been, food was good, but definitely not overfed; however, overpriced...but celebrating 20 years there, so I guess other patrons okay with it, we were a "one & done."

We had a nice dinner at Varka. The food was good (we had steak and lobster, with the steak being a bit tough but the lobster quite good) and the staff was professional.

Food is good. Hostess and service is whatever. Definitely lacking in hospitality. Seating is also whatever. Tables for 2 off near the bar. Would I come back? Yes I guess but if I didn't I wouldn't mind either. Decor and layout very similar to Most Greek restaurants.

The food and service were excellent. Shrimp scampi and corn risotto was delicious and the shrimp were huge! the tuna tomahawk melted in the mouth. A bit noisy.

disappointed.. It's not what it once was, my fish appetizer came with bones that my server told me I could eat. He did not explain this to me when I ordered. My Halibut was overcooked and overpriced. It's always a great bar scene and the Octopus is always great but for the price I don't think I would go back.

A business associate met me for lunch and it was outstanding. Ate outside on the patio where the service was excellent. Delicious lunch that didn't break the bank. We'll be back.

Excellent restaurant with outstanding and attentive staff. Food was cooked to perfection and everything tasted fresh and delicious. We had the perfect waitress serving our table, very knowledgeable and guided us on our orders.

A Longtime Patron, Deeply Disappointed I've been dining at Varka 4–6 times a year for the past 15 years. That kind of consistency speaks for itself—Varka used to be a dependable favorite. But after two back-to-back terrible experiences, I'm sad to say those days are over. Last night, I took my wife and daughter. It was the second time in six weeks that everything fell flat. I didn't speak up after the first visit—everyone has an off night now and then—but two in a row signals a real decline. Service was sloppy, slow, and disinterested. The food? Mediocre at best, and overpriced for what you get. The maître d'? Obnoxious and condescending. There was none of the attentiveness, quality, or warmth that once made this place stand out. Varka now seems to be coasting on its old reputation—and unfortunately, it no longer deserves it. I won't be returning.
